Fun fact: In Artie Lange's book "Too Fat To Fish" he said that Dirty Work was originally shot as a R rated movie, but got cut into a PG-13 flick by the idiots at MGM because they believed an R comedy wouldn't sell well. (Two months later "There's Something about Mary" came out and made them look like jackasses.) He claims that the original version was a lot more funny then the final cut.
That makes me wonder about if any footage is still around and if we might ever see a Directors Cut of Dirty Work since it's become a huge cult hit.

his act on that roast was meant to be a throwback to old days, the joke of it was telling silly jokes amongst a room full of people telling dick/fart/cunt/aids/rape jokes.

i can understand why many people didn't appreciate it, and others just didn't get it, and a few who did, didn't like it, but i thought it was brilliant.

but yeah, as i said, if you like norm (and artie and will ferrell) you need to hear the album "Ridiculous"

"Dirty Work" is hands down one of the best comedy flicks ever. Shit is so good and I constantly quote the Chris Farley part "Street Fightin man.....G........SEEVVVVVVON!!!!!......"...."if you like pina coloda's...."

Norm was really good on the roast I thought. He was good the whole way through and his bit was hilarious.

Dirty Work is one of the funniest/underrated movies ever!!! norm was def the higlight of the roast. May go see Norm in may. psyched.

I used to SCREAM this about 45 times a night when I was working/drinking at the Cambridgeport (same difference). Which, I'm sure, wasn't obnoxious at all. (STEVE, LOUD AND OBNOXIOUS IN MY BAR?!? IT'S MOAR LIKELY THAN YOU THINK!!!)
