The Summoned is an experimental death metal band based out of Chelmsford, MA. Some of our influences include Opeth, Necrophagist, Between The Buried and Me, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Into The Moat, The Faceless, The Black Dahlia Murder, Meshuggah & Death. We are looking to obtain a full time bassist whos driven and wants to make music their life. Some of the bands we have played with are Cattle Decapitation, Psyopus, Emmure, The_Network, Dance Club Massacre, Architect, Carnifex, Killwhitneydead, The Demonstration, Rose Funeral, The Breathing Process and more. Below is a list of what were looking for in a bassist.
Requirements:
Must have decent equipment
A steady income to pitch in on band expenses
Available to practice multiple times a week
Must have show/tour experience
Over the age of 18
2 years experience minimum
Willing to help any means necessary
Must be open minded in the music writing process
Must have transportation
Recording experience preferred
Dedicated and self motivated
Willing to move forward with the band
Good sense of timing and rhythm
Must be able to handle constructive criticism

Contrary to popular belief: The Summoned is not just another deathcore band. Their new shit actually has kind of a glass casket meets between the buried and me feel, with a good amount of dm in the mix. They're still very good friends of mine, I just can't be in a band with them anymore. |
