Just finished this, great read -- I might even read it again.

Dark, post-apocalyptic awesomeness with language that could only come from McCarthy's style.

I read this front to back on the drive down to MDF. Absolutely surpassed my expectations, the story is an absolutely TERRIFYING vision, his descriptions of the post-armageddon landscape are fucked. The end actually made me cry a little.

Really REALLY looking forward to the movie, but I recommend reading the book first.
