I installed it on my PC (all 13+gb of it) and fired it up only to find out my current video card (evga 7800 gtx ko) couldn't even handle running it even on the lowest settings, lol.

Anyone else try it? Looks like multiplayer/online support is finally there.

Bought it for the 360 the day it came out. I loved it. Haven't played since I beat it but I thought they were going to release some episode packs for it. And yes, its pretty graphically intensive.

just bought a GeForce GTX 280 off newegg, quite a jump from a 7800 so it should run, comes with a copy of COD5 too.

thing is huge, but shouldn't have any problems fitting in my case.

yea the new 2xx series are pretty beefy. I personally run 2x8800GT superclocks in my rig.

All GTA's are the shit. "Lost and the Damned" comes out on the 17th so I am preparing for some huge smokeouts and isolation.

how's that setup? My MB supports crossfire but it doesn't seem worth it since the additional card could only run at 4x and not 16x. It's probably mainly for 3-4 monitor support. Should be set with the 280 for a while.

I'll be selling my 7800gtx ko and 4gb of corsair dominator pc8500. Just got 4x2gb of the same ram since CS4 now supports up to 6gb of ram.

those GPUs + E8400 running at 4.0 solid cuts through every game out right now.

I have an E6850 which I'm running stock at 3ghz. Think I'll be set with it or is it worthwhile to look at getting a Q95/9600?

toggletoggle post by reimroc at Feb 4,2009 3:36pm
No you're all set. I just overclocked mine for shits and giggles.

toggletoggle post by porphyria at Feb 4,2009 3:43pm
I could probably OC mine to 3.2 without having to change the heatsink/fan.

toggletoggle post by reimroc at Feb 4,2009 3:43pm
Yea you could

I'm assuming Xbox and PC can play online together?

toggletoggle post by reimroc at Feb 4,2009 3:45pm
Only on some games. Right now its still consoles with consoles and PC with PC.

toggletoggle post by porphyria at Feb 4,2009 3:46pm
hmm, what about GTA4 and COD 4 & 5?

GTA4 for PC is definitely just a BAD port of the game, with some patches/updates from rockstar it might eventually become playable.

toggletoggle post by menstrual_sweatpants_disco   at Feb 6,2009 10:09pm
the GTA ports for PC are generally pretty bug-ridden, which is why they're usually not worth pirating. When patches come out, the cracks usually become unusable.

I downloaded GTA4 about a month ago but still haven't gotten around to installing/playing. I have an eVGA GeForce 8800GTX card.
