Sometime between Saturday night and Sunday morning I dislocated my big toe. I've broken bones before but this is probably the most annoying thing i've ever experienced. And i didn't even really get hammered Saturday or take any diggers. Just woke up almost unable to walk. It really, really sucks.

I'm expecting many "This one time I blacked out..." stories, and I'd actually be more at ease with it if it were the case, but I remember everything that happened and nothing explains it. Suckfest 2009.

are you sure you dislocated it? did you have to pop it back in? i slept wrong on my left index finger last night and when i woke up the joint felt like it had razor blades in it. i doubt you dislocated it without knowing, even a minor injury to a toe hurts so unbelievably bad. but if you did, get it looked at or end up with a goof toe.

actually upon further recollection i remember there being some random mock wrestling match where i landed on a bed weird and my 5-foot-6 350 lb. friend landed on top of me. i can still move it which makes me think it might just have hyperextended that night and is swelling up a lot, or a small fracture in the joint. from what i understand they don't do much except either cast or boot it and let it heal. either way, my insurance ran up at the end of the year so i'm kinda boned.

you probably did something like i did to my thumb. wrenched it strangely and now it'll hurt for the next 6 months.

use a cane so you can keep weight of it. icing is also a good idea

been use crutches if i leave the house. and icing is always a good idea.

You should probably do a barrel roll, just to be safe.

i need either a trampoline, pool, or foam pit.
