yep, that says it all. been playing for almost a decade now, looking for a thrash band to join, or maybe find a group of people to start something with. I live in Randolph and would like to keep things somewhat local, maybe travelling a 30 mile radius, but no more.

I'm not interested in joining a death metal band, a metalcore band, a deathcore band, or any other core that may have spawned in the last 20 minutes.

my influences as far as playing style goes includes Atheist, Coroner, Watchtower, Cynic, Afflicted, Gorguts, Testament, old Metallica, Pantera, Sodom, Sepultura, Exhorder, Destruction, Municipal Waste, Suicidal Tendencies, etc, etc, etc.

what about lich king! they are not bad at all with that new album they put out.

never even heard of them. i'll check 'em out. why does everyone want to play metalcore and death metal? we need more thrash! i'll still be looking for a band for a while, I'd imagine.

more thrash and more blackthrash would be great

i think lich king is from MASS. They really aren't that bad considering what is out there. there seems to be a thrash resurgence. I can name maybe 20 new thrash bands... not bad either. but its ironic they probably were babies when thrash was at its high point.

they're okay. there's not many new thrash bands that are awesome, not that I've heard. Bonded By Blood are pretty sick, Evile ain't too bad...that's about all that comes to mind for new thrash.
