saw this last night, way more like the comic than the original, and out of hand violence, an excellent movie. any body else see it?

the original being the one with dolph lundgren?

The violence was over the top but it was way too cartoony. I'd give it a C+.

sorry, i fail, i meant the thomas jane punisher. the new one is better than the dolph lundgren version as well.

When I was a little kid the punisher was my favorite comic book series, but I outgrew it. Eventually they released the Max series and in my opinion, that's what the punisher should have been all along.

This movie was fucking amazing. If you go into it expecting a lot more than an unnecessary amount of violence, then you won't like it that much.

if you can look past the horrible dialogue and acting and deal with all the crappy accents then it was a fun and violent movie. I really couldn't get by all that though. C+

I always expect movies based on comic books to have horrible dialogue and acting, since comic books have such horrible dialogue and unrealistic dramatics. I wanted to see violence and I got it, so I was satisfied.
