Fantomas at the Axis. Kinda weird, are there any openers?

toggletoggle post by litacore   at Feb 26,2004 2:06pm
hmm. with Dave Lombardo AND Buzz Osbourne?

if so then I'm tempted

toggletoggle post by ninkaszi at Feb 26,2004 2:29pm
i am definitely going. i saw them back in 2001 in nyc and it was beyond amazing. awesome, awesome band. my favorite patton band at the moment.

It wouldn't be Fantomas without them. Has anyone heard the new one yet? Fucking genious.

toggletoggle post by litacore   at Feb 26,2004 3:09pm
I haven't heard it yet

it's on the list. I hafta limit myself to one CD a month

toggletoggle post by ninkaszi at Feb 26,2004 4:28pm
i think the new album rules, but it's my least favorite one at the moment. directors cut is my favorite. when i saw them they played everything from the first album, and directors cut. i wonder what they will do on this tour. is melt banana on this tour? i heard they were going to be.

toggletoggle post by moran   at Feb 26,2004 4:52pm
I think they said that it really isn't possible doing anything off the new one without doing the whole thing start to finish, which I think would be really cool. But I can't wait to see them again. I saw them with Tool a couple years back. Terrible show. I missed the first couple Fantomas songs and it was in an arena, so the sound wasn't what it should have been. And Tool fucking blew, I fell asleep half way through.

i saw tomahawk open for Tool a couple of years ago..shot that show and did an interview with Duane
last tomahawk show i shot, i brought the rev and ended up doing the interview with the whole band...

awesome

toggletoggle post by moran   at Feb 26,2004 5:59pm
Thats awesome. Was that the Roxy show?

toggletoggle post by succubus  at Feb 26,2004 6:44pm
yeah..were you there too?

toggletoggle post by moran   at Feb 26,2004 6:49pm
Oh yeah. I was upstairs for the Melvins, but I was somewhat up front during Tomahawk. Like two or three people back. That show was awesome.

toggletoggle post by succubus  at Feb 26,2004 6:50pm
hmmm maybe you are in my photos..i'm gonna look now!

toggletoggle post by succubus  at Feb 26,2004 6:59pm
crowd shots are not too clear though..
but remember this part?

toggletoggle post by moran   at Feb 26,2004 7:13pm
Yeah, I remember that part. That guys shit. I'm pretty positive that Jaime's head(Disengaged drummer) is the one thats blocked by the mike in the first pic, and I thinkyou can see the top of my head right next to the speaker. I'm not sure about that one, but I was right in that area.

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Feb 26,2004 9:44pm
melt banana.. that would freaking rule!

toggletoggle post by succubus  at Mar 3,2004 3:32pm

toggletoggle post by Alx_Casket  at Apr 1,2012 8:45pm
Damn, wish I could have been there.

toggletoggle post by KEVORD  at Apr 1,2012 8:59pm
I was. I've seen every Patton project live.

toggletoggle post by Alx_Casket  at Apr 1,2012 10:40pm
Slightly jealous, but his work as a hole is either hit or miss to me. More faith in the likes of unexpect and sebkha-chott

toggletoggle post by KEVORD  at Apr 1,2012 10:50pm
Not a fan of Tomahawk. FNM was always great. Mr. Bungle was great in their Village People costumes.Patton and Rahzel was cool. Fantomas is alright. Peeping Tom was entertaining. Lovage was probably my favorite patton show surprisingly.I think that's all of the projects. May have forgot one.

toggletoggle post by narkybark   at Apr 2,2012 1:23am
The X-Ecutioners?

toggletoggle post by narkybark   at Apr 2,2012 1:24am
I guess that doesn't really count
