this venue is the shizzle. it is amazing. backstage there are huge huge radiators, spiral staircases, and ridiculous things.

awe... I really like the human abstract's music. I don't really dig the vocals, but they pull off the guitar work so awesomely live that it's a treat for me to see them. their new stuff is more mellow. im sure it's a concept CD or something, but I haven't given it enough of a chance. this vennue rocks too. easily the best sound they have ever had at a show I've been to of theirs. the whol crowedd is 14 year olds which is kind of weird. I definitely walked in with a bunch of parents.

what is up with this dir en grey band? they are on the end records... how the hell can they be hip?

Bigtime Japanese band, started out doing the visual kei goth stuff, then went nu-metal, now do more atmospheric stuff with nu-metal and kind of heavy leanings. Not good, but the kiddies love it.

Inugami Circus Dan or bust.

They played one nu metal song at the beginning that made me go "WTF!?!" then the rest of the set was all 100% weird atmospheric stuff that could seriously be on tour with something like bloody panda. I don't know if I like the music, but it was just weird. no homo. Are any of the members girls? I couldn't tell.

No girls, but close enough
