Fuck yes, Barclay House. I hit there on my hip hop tour in march. Played with Shelter Shock (Baltimore Punk) and Ygramul (USBM). Sanctum was supposed to play but broke up I guess. The show was awesome, the neighborhood was sketchy as all hell, the basement was all graffiti. I plan on going back there sometime.

yeah i love those doods, Throwing Shrapnel and Holy Fuck got asked to play there and they treated too good it was fucking awesome. if you're into basement shows i def recommend this spot.

Were you talking about Shelter Shock or the Barclay folks? Everyone was really nice. The place used to be a spot that had AA meetings (explains the break room when you walk in). They said people still knock and ask if there's meetings. They were blasting Gravediggaz when I walked in. All the houses around it are boarded up and they said they can have shows any night and cops don't come. A friend of mine came from DC to see me. She's a tall white female and she was taking pictures at the beer store with some local "street folk". Little nerve racking, surreal experience nonetheless. Ill post some pics of the spot when I'm home.

i was talking about Justin and the rest of the Barclay folk. when Holy Fuck played there we walked around the neighborhood and found a nasty fast food chinese restraunt to eat at, good pigeon.

the only place i felt a lil nervous at was the liquor store, now that place was shady as fuck.
