i've only been playing this for about an hour and a half, but so far its pretty cool. i didn't play the first one so i have no reference point, but my roommate swears by it.

my roommate is absolutely addicted to this game. he is doing the pansy all-good adventure though

hahahaha i am not surprised. there is no fun in being good. i love running around and kicking chickens.

its pretty neat that all the people in the towns like bow down to his character and shit but he spends like half the time buying furniture and making babies with his virtual wife. pretty lame. i'll be starting an expedition soon which will be extrodinarily evil.

i'm still not surprised haha.

ive played for a few hours now, seems alot like the first one, havent found any major improvements, but thats allright with me. killer game.

friend got it last night. seems okay; wasn't a huge fan of the 1st one because it was too "kiddy" compared to games like Oblivion.
Fallout 3 is coming out - anyone grabbing this? Should be SICK.

fallout 3 is just the game i need right now. fable 2 looks great but i'll wait til it gets cheaper, i got sick of the first one pretty quick. my roommate got farcry 2 for PC and he was going nuts about it, psyched to go load it up after work today!

vagrant story is on aril's top 10 list of greatest games of all time.

What sucks about Vagrant Story is that I only found out about it a few months ago. I bought it, played about 10 hours worth and forgot about it. The story seems fucking awesome and the game play is sweet. I could see this game being PERFECT, though, with better graphics, voice acting, and a quicker-to-respond battle system.

Dude, you gotta take it for what it is. It came out a long time ago. It had arguably some of the best graphics on PS1.
Also, if you like FFT, the same people wrote and designed Vagrant Story.
I'm currently playign FFT for Gba and it doesn't even hold a candle to the one for PS1. It's still very fun though.

There's this whole theory that the Ivalice of Vagrant Story, FF12, and FFT are the exact same just in different periods of time.

That's almost as interesting as the Square-Enix proposed theory of FF7 and FFX being in the same world too.

And that all the Cids and Sids are the same people?
And that Cloud makes a cameo in FFT? Oh wait, he does. He's a secret character. Therefore, the FF7 world is Ivalice?

No but there is substantial information to connect FFX to FF7 having to do with energy extraction (pyreflies in FFX, mako in FF7) and space travel and the Shinra of FFX being the source of the company in FF7.

Cloud being in FFT is probably just Square trying to get all the Cloudfags to want to play the game.
