TESTAMENT
drummer Paul Bostaph (Forbidden, Slayer) has been drafted to sit behind
the kit - the current lineup is rounded out by: Chuck Billy (v), Eric
Peterson (g), Steve Smyth (g) and Steve DiGiorgio (b)

EINHERJER
the band has decided to split up – according to an official statement:
“We
feel that we've made the album we wanted with ‘Blot’ and therefore a
journey of 11 years has come to an end. We are definitively not
retiring
as musicians, so you haven't heard the last from us yet. . .’

HALLOWS EVE
the 80’s thrash act has regrouped – bassist Tommy Stewart is joined by
'Tales Of Terror' guitarist Skully (formerly known as Skellator) and
vocalist Steve Cannon, editor of the internet ‘zine Vibrations Of Doom

MESHUGGAH
Dick Lövgren (Arch Enemy, In Flames) has replaced Gustaf Hielm on bass
guitar

VADER
drummer Doc seriously injured his hand and leg during the third day of
recording – as a result, the band was forced to cancel the session and
postpone recordings until May – in light of the seriousness of the
injury,
Daray (Vesania) will join the band as a session drummer on the new
album
and will also play with Vader on upcoming tours

IN AETERNUM
drummer Per Karlsson (Nominon) has been added to the lineup

FLESHTIZED
the band has officially reformed with the following lineup: vocalist
Rob
Kline (Pessimist, Psychotegen), guitarist Sonny Lombardozzi
(Incantation,
SevenGates), bassist Garth Lovvorn and drummer Gary White - the follow
up
to ‘Here, Among Thorns’ is in the works

YAKUZA
bassist Eric Clark has parted ways with the band - Brett Bamberger (The
Postman Syndrome) will stand in for upcoming tour dates

MAPLE CROSS
guitarists Late and Sami Siekkinen have been replaced by Avather
(Thyrane)
and J. Henttunen (Sethery)

MONDO GENERATOR
in the wake of his split with Queens Of The Stone Age, bassist Nick
Oliveri will be concentrating on Mondo Generator full-time

CANDLELIGHT RECORDS / ARCTIC MUSIC GROUP
the labels have entered into an agreement that will see all catalog and
new releases from Florida’s Arctic Music Group distributed in the US
via
Candlelight

THE DARKNESS
the band took home three Brit Awards this week: Best British Group,
Best
British Rock Act and Best British Album for ‘Permission To Land’ - the
album has gone quadruple Platinum in the UK
