after the burial: they were ok. They seemed a bit out of it. I remember last time being amazed by the guitar playing. This time it looked more effortful not effortless.
beneath the massacre: brutal yes, but muddy as f! They acted wickked rushed. Idk why. These guys always sound so muddy downstairs, but this was worse. these guys still rule, but I just wished it was cleaner. the palladium changed the hanging racks and what is there now sort of sucks.
toxic holocaust: they made 20 little kids skank/circle pit for the entire set. Not really the crowd for them... And again on that big stage sans stage divng. Lame. They took a wicked long time to set up, and then had to rush to catch up. They ended with nuke the cross too. Perfect. I listened to it from back stage which was so much surperior to the photopit.
Funny being at a show and talking stocks/401k with a bus driver and barnie.
emmure: their sound is probably the worst to see downstairs at the palladium. The amount of low end was not just deafening, but sterilizing. Downstairs is the worst for low end. It is amazing how many 14-ish age year olds losing their minds in the stage while emmure played.
Oh, and I guess when I saw corey haim grab 2 girls hands and run off while there was a line of singers waiting for him was cause the girls had just served him court papers. Ha! Tmz eat your heart out. This is rttp.
kingdom of sorrow: toxic holocaust set up the stage for them. When they came out on the stage there was no kurt with them. They had a guy from typo negative filling, but im sort of "what's the point?" still, their set made the kids happy, bt with out kurt, I find it hard tto not call this hatebreed-lite. Probably cause I never heard the other dude use the mic. Funny that right after I typed that, Jamey spoke about the lack of kurt and all. I guess since they aren't headlining it's ok.

I saw him and one of the other lost boys guys outside the palladium while leaving. dude was liiiiit. walking around like a bag of unhinged bones, walking into corners and just standing there like he meant to be there. that "suave" drunk thing. someone had best prop him on his side tonight.
suicide silence is easily the gayest band i've ever seen live. the only thing that made it bearable was getting loaded and making fun of their fans as they walk by.

mushroom head: this band's music is pretty music hot garbage. When I find out that someone ki know even has some of their merch, I lose all sorts of respect for them. With that disclaimer, the stage show (albeit the same show from last year) is stellar. Block your ears and just watch the lights and colored flashes/splashes. Im a camera person so i'm bias towards the lights. They put in an ironic prince cover. Idk what song it was. Sounded like "bbrrrrrrrrruuuuuum bbrrrrrrrrruuuuuum rain bbrrrrrrrrruuuuuum bbrrrrrrrrruuuuuum". Stupid mega subs. Ugh.. I just caught myself clapping out of habbit.
