while i am not a huge fan of the product.....it can - in a pinch....when you have no real garlic - make some excellent "Ghetto Garlic Bread" (english muffins with butter - or olive oil - and garlic powder)

which is excellent for sopping up left over alfredo sauce whn the pasta is all gone

garlic has the creepiest texture. reminds me of onions.. which are the spawn of satan. i cant eat chunks of garlic. but the flavor is way better

onions literally make me vomit when i bite into them.
i hate when i buy something that looks tasty and its loaded with onions.

also, garlic powder is great for seasoning just about anything...quite literally

i can't think of many things that i've made that didn't have garlic or onion powder in them
