Kimbo finally fights an actual competitor and loses in 14 seconds, as if any MMA fan didn't see this shit coming. Shamrock is a can at this point in his career so it would've been yet another easy and ugly win for Slice, but EliteXC's cash cow just shit the bed when he got his first real taste of competition. I'm glad for two reasons... 1. Fuck Kimbo, his street fights were fun to watch, but MMA? Fuck that. If you BARELY beat James Thompson, you fucking suck. And 2. Watching Ken Shamrock fight is painful, he's about a decade past his prime.

I was kind of stunned at the outcome. I like Kimbo, I guess more because of the image. I would have rather seen him fight Shamrock. I guess it shows what happens when he fights a skilled fighter. You know he's in his 40's right?

this was so dumb. even though i know Kimbo is all hype, it would have been awesome to see him tool on this guy and not be all hype. what threw him off was the one unshaven pectoral muscle.

fat ass? 235 at 6'2"-6'3"? muscular build? can see ab muscles? he isnt fat. im also pretty sure he could run. he was a black guy living on the streets that used to play football for something more than high school if i remember correctly. he is also black. im sure he could run much faster than you think.

now if we want to talk about a "green" MMA fighter that has some real promise... its all about Brock Lesnar. guy runs almost as fast as Randy Moss, can bench over 650, was a champion in collegiate wrestling, and trains incredibly hard for everything. puts his soul into everything he does. he is a genetic freak, in a good sense.

he is going to murder Couture. the fight Brock had with Herring? that opening punch he landed? shattered orbital bone. those couple of knees into Herring's side? internal bleeding. Herring pissed blood for over a week after that fight.

slice is a hack. most of these guys train for years before joining an organization. its all hype. elite has no real good fighters. someone with a great ground game would kill kimbo. thompson isn't that good, and that fight almost went the distance if it weren't for the bloody ear.
