I appreciate the thanks, and understand your viewpoint, believe me. Mass is liberal as hell, and at times unforgiving, true, but the fundamental conservative viewpoint of liberal politics being Robin Hood-esque is skewed. Taxes pay for more than just the poor, it's the middle class that's getting fucked. Bush's plan just hasn't done it for me, and I would bet my house on McCain following in lockstep, because he's a follower, and Palin just doesn't belong there.

Don't get me wrong, I think Biden's a questionable choice, as is Obama, but I see them doing more for the country as a whole than the Rep's. When the Democrats announced the two front-runners for pres. were Obama and Clinton, I could've shit. It's lefty here, but I lived in the south for a couple years, and the politics in uber-right Mississippi are fucked, trust me. If you spent a year or two there, you'd kill to get back into Mass. The mid-west is far more laid back, true, but you get a sense of both sides there.
