went to manchester for it... kind of shitty. I feel bad for everyone that paid like $17 and got to see mastodon play 4 songs (only one off remission) before a piece of their gear died. Glad I didn't have to shell out the $$ for this one.

this show was awesome...Mastodon's set got cut short only by one song, so it wasn't that bad. but Hidden Hand, Nebula, and Clutch did great. Wino is a great guitarist and it was awesome to get to see him tonight...i'm pissed i missed the show last night but i was sick...oh well tonight rocked, nonetheless

i saw that show last night at jarrod's. went to agalloch/the gathering tonight. both shows i saw this weekend were amazing. my friend who went to both mastodon shows said last night was a lot better. it would have been nice to see them up at the bombshelter though. that place is way better than jarrod's. ran into alot of cool people at the show tonight. i hope the reverend gets his excellent gathering pictures up soon. he got a lot of great shots of anneke.

if your friend thinks the mastodon set at the bombshelter was a good set from them then the set at jarrods must have blew even worse. Neither of you must have seen them at metalfest last year.

hidden hand wasn't even worth mentioning. and nebula was lame.

didn't stay for clutch, but i'm sure they are a little better than nebula.

no dude, my friend said the bombshelter set wasn't that good. the set at jarrod's was better according to him. i've seen mastodon almost everytime they've been up here, except for maybe 3 shows, so i most definitely saw them at metalfest this year. they were good at nj metalfest too. those guys are one of my favorite live bands. i'm sure the set at the bombshelter would've been amazing if the amp didn't blow up. the new songs they played at jarrod's were excellent.
