I added the new one.

I noticed the first three songs are so slow they seem to be gothic and then this industrial or noise stuff.. by song 4 it starts to sound like black metal and slow as of that. I don't see how the review could be as Paul advertised about this. I wonder who reveiwed this the goths on SNL?

I haven't gotten the chance to listen to the album in full yet. Fell asleep after Watain. I will check it out soon.

This album is strange

So far, thats the response i want from you black metal turds. It is strange because i am strange.

Cold Northern Vengeance's set was pretty short for a band that plays droning bizzaro black metal; chalk that up to a line-up shift that literally saw new members learning the songs a week before the show. Parts of the new stuff off of Domination and Servitude reminded me of Ithdabquth Qliphoth's better work (kudos to the five people who actually give a shit about that band), very trance-like and far more organic sounding than the rest of the bands on the bill. Like all bands in this style they owe a debt to Burzum, and while I'm not usually into that I've been on a huge psychedelic/ambient kick as of late and dug their abbreviated set. I have the feeling I'd like this a lot more if I had some DMT and was driving up to the White Mountains.

Okay, I listened to half of it last night. So far, very unique and much more experimental than I had thought it would be! It's definitely unique, especially coming out of the NE area. and it's one of the most original USBM releases I've heard in a while.

Thank you for the disc, Paul. I haven't had a chance to sit with it yet and give it the attention it deserves but I'm looking forward to doing so. This is definitely not an album one can absorb in the car while running bullshit errands, though what I've heard so far under those conditions was quite impressive. Highly original and adventurous - two "dangerous" words in the realm of BM, though what I heard was executed very well.
