L'AMOUR CLOSES
Due to the closing of L'amour in Brooklyn, NY, there will be no NY stop on the tour. There is however a second night added to the sold out show in Toronto, Canada. So if you planned on buying your ticket at the door in Toronto, you can do so for the 14th of February. Sorry to the people in NY who wanted to see us, we wanted to play for you again, and we will!

the gathering's set tonight rivaled the best opeth performances i've seen, and opeth is my favorite band ever, so it was truly a great night for me. between mastodon last night and agalloch and the gathering tonight, i saw 3 of the greatest sets ever played all in one weekend. amazing

and was it ever long! WOW..REALLY IMPRESSIVE

When did THE GATHERING get a female bass player?

If I hadn't been feeling like shit for the last couple days I would've gone, looks like I missed a damn good show.

Aaron, I think you need a new type of image compression. Lots of pixely faces latey, and guitar/bass strings always look really weird.

man is that even the gathering? what happend to the rest of the band?

they use to have two long haired guitarist, keyboardist, and male bassist.

the gathering didn't even play on most surfaces, shrink, or leaves? that's wicked gay.

DOM, I will look into image compression today.
the pictures don't look like tat on my PC,
but I've noticed on some browsers, the de-compression looking iffy.

lucubro: they were girl-fronted goth-rock. I listened to the tracks on their website before going and was hoping that they would wow me live as I wasn't into the tracks on their site. Unfortunately, they really didn't wow me live.

novembers doom: they played a great set. and again, they played that song that is my favorite. I think spaldno said their new ep is awesome, but I don't have it yet.

agalloch: excellent, to say the least. if you like opeth's damnation, you should be kicking yourself if you didn't get their latest cd "the mantle". they played better than even I expected, ending with a long remake of a song of the mantle where they were all on the ground. reminded me of when I saw mogwai in 97.

the gathering: they played all their "slow" music. I was really hoping to hear some of the original stuff done all gruff with the "new" singer. they played a 2:15 set which was pretty awesome. I don't remember the last band that I saw do that. there was also a new bass player, didn't catch the name.

so I was just ILLEGALLY downloading an Agalloch album that I've never heard before and I clicked the torrent for the whole discography because those usually have the most seeds...and within that discography was an album called "Agalloch - Live at the Middle East 2004"
