MOONGROOVE REUNION PLZ
....freaking sweet though. i really cant hear the stick licking/twirls nearly enough though. |
really??
I triggered my sticks and everything... |
Not feeling the guy who does the screams now. I liked some of the songs when this band was kind of like a less complicated BTBAM sometimes, haha. |
damn dude sick.
time to shine is a good disk too...
that song kicks ass. |
so a few years ago u played this show on cape at sons of italy and i danced for u and thought u were so dope. like really the definition of what i like for music. u were so good. and after, u gave me a demo cd with i think maybe 4 songs on it, then thanked me for dancing cause im a chick and theres like no brutal chicks or w/e. i still some how have ur demo. and i still think its mad siq. so in conversation with a friend, i was trying to describe something im not even sure what we were talking about any more, but off the top of my head i thought of ur band as an example bc it fit the profile of w/e i was talking about.u guys were the first to pop in my head. so i looked up ur myspace. and have come to find ur music has changed 100%. i dont like ur new stuff any. im so disapointed. wtf happened. why would u change when u were so good into something i wouldnt listen to if u paid me. b4 ur little demo recording stuck out in my head, it impressed me. i really liked it. go back to the way u were. and make me a cd with more then 4 songs. and never sound the way u sound now again. |

I was a Moongroov fan when they FIRST came out and they played Soulfest a billion years ago.
You guys were wicked shy and laid back back then.
Now you're Metalcore dudes.
Love it. |
haha, they've been metalcore dudes for like 8 years now and I wasnt in the band then |
I had both Moongroov albums FOREVER. Sometimes I listen to them for nostalgia purposes. I saw them at Soulfest in 2001 I believe and then again in 2003. Wow, what a difference 2 summers makes. They came onstage as Mercury Switch with long hair and tattoos and screaming vocals and I was like, LOLWUT. |
Mercury Switch was touched by 9/11 and just had to get real fucken mad bro |
we've got our whole lives to groove moons guys
this is our time to shine |
wish i could have seen these doods live. listenin to "time to shine" right now. |
I heard they maybe doing one more show... just don't when. |
I heard it was going to be at drifters. |
I said some pretty outrageous stuff in this thread.
Including the best hate mail I've ever received for a band I've been in. |
haha
I know nothing of another/last show, although I'd be totally down. You can download the record we wrote and recorded but never released. Had guest vocals from Tim Lambesis, Nate Johnson, and Chris Crownevict. *ahem* http://www.bunalti.com/?p=143145 |
This would be a much better idea for a reunion. |

It could have just been a drunkin Sam/Luke ranting who knows? But I hope a reunion is real |
