Anyone who stops by my apartment before trash day will see my bass sticking out of the kitchen trash in a comical fashion. That's how I felt after watching Origin... I have no business even playing an instrument. Soooo unbelievable. The sound kind of drowned out the guitars which I was a little disappointed with but whatever. The singer of Origin got faaaaaaaaat too.

Proteus killed with Mike doing 2nd vocals. It'll be a serious injustice if that band breaks up.

Fuck the Facts.... I dunno. Boring riff, boring riff, boring riff, cool riff, boring riff. Multiply that times 3 and that was basically every song. I just can't get excited about bands like that.

Misery Index might as well have started playing at the beginning of the Sox double header, and still have been playing when it ended. They played for that long. The best way to describe that band is if someone took Dying Fetus "destroy the opposition" and ran it through the washing machine.

I missed /r/Composted/r/ because it took almost 40 minutes to find parking.

its a shame that composted had to play when they did. it is of my opinion that proteus should have opened. cause they were flat out horrible. even my friends said that should never have left the basement. and with their set last night, i whole heartedly agree. i spent about 2 songs inside for them. then i was outside for the remainder of their set. and ill tell you this, they sounded much better outside. because i couldnt hear them. HAH (problem with what im saying? FIGHT ME)

misery index was good for about the first 15 minutes. the half hour after that was just over kill.

origin was aight. the only things to be impressed with regarding origin was the bass and drumming. i left early cause the sound was horrible.

I was ready to kill someone on the way to this show because of horrific weather on the south shore, followed by retarded congestion in Boston. I thought for sure I'd have to park a mile or two away from the club after I loaded in, but the second we were done 2 spots opened up for me and MSD. Perfect.

Aside from my pedal board mysteriously disconnecting during our last song, I was pleased with the Composted set. Probably one of the first times I didn't mess up horribly while thrashing around in a ridiculous costume.

It was pretty cool seeing Proteus with 2 vocalists; it's a shame they weren't well rested/rehearsed for the show, otherwise it would have been monumental. Given the circumstances, I enjoyed the set thoroughly anyway.

It took me a while to get into Fuck The Facts, but they've grown on me a lot. I can see why not everyone likes them, but I thought they were fucking sick and had funny t shirts, haha.

I was excited as fuck to see Misery Index; I think the last time I saw them was 3 or 4 years ago, so it was long overdue. The new CD is by far their best material to date and one of the few CDs I've been really excited about this year. Jason Netherton is a solid dude.

Origin makes everyone want to quit music, myself included...I'm thinking of getting robot arms so I can play half as fast as they do.

Thanks to everyone who came out, those of you who actually were able to see us, bought a shirt, grabbed a demo, etc.
