N.J. just smells bad

to be fair there are certain Isolated areas of Jersey that are very pleasant. they just get drowned out by the ever increasing amount of surrounding garbage.

New Jersey is such a shithole. i'm sure there are nice spots, but i have yet to see one. i drove down to Absecon and i didn't see one single thing i liked. it smells so bad.

Collingswood is a picturesque town and Cherry Valley is a pretty nice area in the Southwestern Part of Jersey. Everything around it is garbage - Newark (North), Camden (Outside Philly) and Atlantic City (South East). also Asbury Park is a complete shitthole ( north western shore i believe)

used to drive down every summer to visit my grandfather before he died... also lived down there when i was young.

fuck yeah man! Me and my bud made a la fin du monde clone 6-10 months ago. (can't remember exactly) Came out great.

Very little good came from NJ. I went to a kick ass Meltdown fest there in 2000. Origin, pessimist, incantation, impaled nazarene, vital remains, converge, cephalic carnage, Dillinger escape plan, fleshgrind, dying fetus, mortician, hate eternal, angel corpse, immolation, witchery, immortal, testament, pig destroyer, a life once lost, burnt by the sun, esoteric, amorphis...... and i remember soilwork's keyboard player broke his arm, so they didnt play, but they were supposed to. That was still "Chainheart Machine" timeframe. IOW, they were still awesome.

Gosh, thinkin about that fest makes me all tingly inside.
wow, i only listed the bands i dug, (and yes, i had to look up a list to see all the bands.) and there were still a shitload more. What a crazy couple days that was, in a really scary neighborhood that is.

i agree with ALMOST everything thats being said. I dont really think canadian girls are banging.. although the beat the hell outta jersey girls... so i guess its a valid point.
