sorry to hear that man. dan's a good drummer and a good guy. i'm sure you guys will find another good drummer soon. good bands attract good musicians. i said good too many times in this post. anyway, good luck with the search. keep the doom alive.

have you tried posting on craigslist.org in the musicians section ?

I've found more musicians that way than the phoenix (which, lets face it, scrapes the bottom of the barrel, unless you like Bon Jovi)

also, post just before midnight. You get to the top of the days listing that way and stand out more

for the record, the reason i'm not playing with shroud has little to do with being a homeowner or having kids, my kids are actually young teenagers. there are other reasons and a longer story, something about being kicked out and then asked to rejoin. it actually has more to do with my personal goals. however, shroud needs a real good drummer. Don't even waste they're time unless you can mother fucking play the shit out of your set, play fucking heavy and sloooooowwwwww and blast too. That fucking dirgy shit was some of the hardest stuff I've had to learn.

Only kick ass drummers need apply.
