DISMEMBER US RELEASE DATE CONFIRMED

Philadelphia: Candlelight Records confirms April 20 as the US release date for the new album from Sweden's DISMEMBER. Titled Where Ironcroses Grow, it is the eighth full-length album from the long-running and respected death metal band.

Recorded at Sami Studios in Stockholm, Where Ironcrosses Grow ends near four years of silence for the band. Featuring founding members drummer Fred Estby and guitarist David Blomquist with vocalist Matti Karki, guitarist Martin Persson, and bassist Richard Cabeza, the album was produced by Estby (whom has additional producing/engineering credits for Konkhra, early At the Gates, Grand Magnus, Gehennah, Katatonia, Entombed, Hellacopters).

Formed in 1988, Dismember's roots are firmly planted in the original death metal archives. The band are revered worldwide for their no-holds-barred, pure Scandinavian death march - a sound that has long become the staple of quality for the genre. The band's collective worldwide sales surpass 500,000 units and their touring endeavors have placed them in front of audiences around the globe. They have to date shared the stage with Napalm Death, Obituary, Meshuggah, Hypocrisy, Amorphis, Morbid Angel, Death, Cannibal Corpse, as well as placing high at numerous festivals for over ten years. Their last trip to the US, headlining in support of their 2000 release, was a huge success and helped overall US sales for their last and final album for Nuclear Blast, Hate Campaign.
