That was a fuckin awesome show! Also, no prob Rev! I may have to change my sn thing to bobhasstronfeelingstowardsthemusicalarts haha! |
I truly wish this show had been in Worcester, though. Somewhere like Ralph's or even The Lucky Dog would have been ideal for this. FUCK Boston.
And can we please boycott clubs that only mic the vocals?! Please? I can think of few things less professional than a club that doesn't have the ability to throw some mics on the drums and guitars.
yeesh. someones angry. FUCK worcester. that town is a shithole. it sucks that all the big shows happen there and not here. it doesnt make any sense quite frankly |

No doubt Worcester is a shithole, but Boston isn't?
And what about it doesn't make sense?
Worcester:
- infinitely easier to get to from all directions
- there's abundant parking
- there's an actual metal scene there where people will actually go to shows just for the sake of going to a metal show
Boston:
- only convenient if you live there
- ZERO parking
- ZERO metal scene, which means shows frequented by a few locals, and die-hard fans of the bands playing
Worcester = win!
obviously you dont know too much about the boston metal scene |

Dude, I've been to and played many many shows in both cities over the past 10 years. The difference between the 2 is like night and day. Most noteably the fact that Worcester has a scene haha.
You can't tell me that if this show had been held in Worcester, whether upstairs at the Palladium or at either of the 2 venues I mentioned earlier, that there wouldn't have been CONSIDERABLY more people there. |
This show should have been conveniently located in my living room -- easily the epicenter of metal on Earth. |

the show last night was good for what it was. it sold out! would have probably been better at another venue? sure! to say that the scene sucks here is just unfair though. we've definitely got something going on and its on the upswing. |
the only thing that sucked about last night show is that people weren't moving their equipment into good spots. there was always something on the floor and in the way |
I found out later that the bouncer wouldn't let one of my friends in because the club was 'filled to capacity.' What a fucking joke! O'Briens gets some good shows, but it has some serious shortcomings. That said, it was a cool night and I was glad to finally play closer to home with Deceased. |
Filled to capacity? There was like 45 people there lol. |
Btw, this is fuckin' hilarious:
Hahaha! |
I agree..... the 'filled to capacity' reason was a joke. There were more fans in O'Briens back in Dec.2005 for Deceased. The only thing dissapointing about Deceased was the set seemed a bit short. |

Well you got your wish 7 years later |
