New site? Maybe some day.
she must be playing Cthulhu. |
I have a feeling I'll watch this and be let down big time.
hmm--actually could be decent, who knows.
Dagon and From Beyond are still my faves though |
has anyone seen that movie that has like 3 short stories & Jeffrey Combs plays HP Lovecraft for the in between scenes??
does anyone know what I'm talking about? I saw it once....I think...might have been a dream/might have been high.
One of the stories had this cop who had her arms and legs cut off and these "flying Vagina" looking things knocked her up. |
i enjoy lovecraft movies in an "i'll take what i can get" sense. |
you should check out that book "Lurker in the Lobby" it lists all of the Lovecraft films made so far, including short films and TV adaptations |
Interesting. Annoys me that it's got nothing to do with Cthulhu (looking at that trailer, it's based on "The Shadow Over Innsmouth," which is pretty awesome), but this could be decent. At least somebody finally spent some money on a Lovecraft movie; maybe if it does well we'll start seeing more.
Now if only they'd make a halfway decent Conan movie. |

Yeah agreed watched the trailer again and actually paid attention.
-deep ones comming ashore
-esoteric order of dagon church
-seems to have strange family ties to the deep ones.

Call of Cthulhu -> only Lovecraft movie even remotely watchable. People often get it confused with this Tori Spelling movie, but don't fall into the trap! |
I saw In the Mouth of Madness with Sam Neill recently. That's pretty entertaining. Not exactly a Lovecraft story but talks about the Old Ones and shit like that. |
gay. i dont see any tentacles or chaos or unspeakable unfathomable beings. what a waste! |

Hey, if he doesn't waste time "remaking" it and just goes ahead and uses an ACTUAL Conan story or two, I'll be ecstatic. Those two turds Ahnold was in had fuck-all to do with Robert E. Howard's Cimmerian. |
