New site? Maybe some day.
Started last night. Got 5 hours in. I rule. This my second and a half time playing through. I fucking love that game. |
I didn't like X. I played it til I got to the last guy on that island and then died... so I tried 2 more times and died.
then I just told myself I won and stopped playing.
I did the same thing to castlevania on the PS2 |
I don't even know what guy you're talking about. I just love this game. I was 14 or 15 when I first played through it and there are a lot of emotions tied with this game. And the music. Dear god, the music. |
as i've stated in the past, FFVI is the last true FF!! |
I miss 16 bit sprite FF characters |
FFX sucked because it was so linear, really boring. And let's not even get started on Tidus' voiceover. |
funny story about FFX I got to the last stage..... after trying to beat that dude on the ship 200000 million times! [i fucked up the sphere grid] and then decided to get ALL of the master weapons, then a demo disk comes in the mail and deleted my memory card, never got past the last boss.
great game though.
i am game OCD and replayed parts just to get a spiecal item, i used to beat a part without a guide then read the guide after i beat the part to see if i missed anything. |
I don't get FFX hate. It's not THAT linear and Tidus' voiceover rules. Some of the vocal nuances...meh but the actual voice is spot on I say. |

It would feel a lot less linear if they kept the overview map and didn't have the stupid "pick a point" flight system. I still enjoyed the game, but like many I got to the last boss and just didn't care to beat him. |
Well I just beat it and that ending has to be one of the most emotionally charged FF endings to date. And I'm talking strictly endings. The most emotional FF event is the death of Aeris, by far.
But yeah this game was great. I did more in this play through than in the first and in half the time. My characters (Tidus, Yuna, and Auron) could do ridiculous damage with their Celestial Weapons. I'm talking like 30,000-80,000. Beat the boss in a breeze and then got hit the in the face with the saddest ending ever. I can't wait for FFXIII. |
Just played and beat FFX-2 with the special ending for the first time. Holy shit. Holy motherfucking shit. |
The most emotionally charge Final Fantasy event was the time I didn't wait long enough for the ninja guy before jumping off the floating land mass and into the airship, therefore killing any chance of him rejoining my party. That was one very broken SNES controller. |
Hahaha, Shadow fucking kicks ass. |
replaying super mario rpg now.
so whats the sad ending? |
The sad ending in FFX-2? It's not a sad ending. In fact it's wicked happy. It was good to play that game just to get some FFX closure. |

so what was it |
I'm playing Golden Sun for the GBA. Nice game. Mix between LufiaII and traditional rpgs. I also like how the item system is very similar to Shining Force. I think its the same programmers. |
I've never even played X, even though I've had it pretty much since it came out (My brother bought it) |
Queer. That games sucks. Have fun watching 20+ hours of fucking movies. |
that's what I thought about it too. |

I did the same thing
I must have beat the initial battle to land on Sin ten times only to find that right after you landed on the cunt there was another boss battle without a save point between the two. Googled the ending spoilers and wasn't all that interested in finishing it.

Yeah but it let you get that fruity bitch Relm back in your party without going through the burning mansion! |
FF6 > ALL OTHER FFS
The depth, the maturity (most characters weren't kids or looked like women) the music, the story, ALL the best. Not knocking the other ones, but I think FF6 is one of the greatest video games of all time. |
Getting punched in the dick repeatedly>>>>>>>Legend of Dragoon |
FF6 was FF3 in the US? if so that game was amazing. |
yep, FF3 is FF6. I remember the day it came out. I was drooling over that stupid advertisement with Mog leaning on a sword for months.
FFVII (or whatever the first one for PS was) was the best by far. |
FF6 is awesome, FF7 is awesome, FF8 is alright, FF10 is amazing, FF12 is pretty good, FF13 is going to rape ass.
what about Final Fantasy : Mystic Quest or Final Fantasy Tactics or Final Fantasy Legend III for gameboy?
Mystic Quest sucked but the music is awesome, FFT is awesome, and FFLIII is pretty intense. |
