Also, not sure how long the sets of these bands are, but 7 bands is good.
They are strict on time there.

My thoughts exactly. New guy is fast on "Butcher the Weak", but "138" had the crazy speed and the most ridiculous snare rolls ever. I've said it before, the re-recorded "Babykiller" just doesn't sound right. We shall see, I've never seen them but I'm sure this show will rank high on my list. Going to get so high on the ride down.

a decent percentage of why I want to go to this show is just to see Kyle George lose his shit.

Haha. Did you know we are riding down together? I'd say it was him who played Devourment for me 1st. Many parties with repeated "Babykiller" listens. All my close circle of friends get down to Devourment so we're all pumped.

i saw Yacopsae, Sanity's Dawn and Unholy Grave play with a bunch of local bands in Providence, and (thanks to the first opening band showing up late and playing way too long) unholy grave ended up playing at about 2:10 A.M. and played maybe twelve minutes

if you're an opener and you don't show up on time you don't play...if that's not your rule as a promoter, it needs to be.

i agree....those guys fucked that show up for me.....no offense to them, but i would much rather see the japaneese grindcore legends Unholy Grave than some local band who plays 4 to 8 shows a month

This show is not at a club where it can afford to go until 2 am. There is a strict time limit that will be enforced. The opening bands are on this show because they work hard and deserve to play, however this show is about Devourment. If you don't like it, you should have booked it.

There's a decent size parking lot on the side of the building that I believe belongs to the PAL.
There's also another parking lot across the street, not sure if you are really suppose to park there, but people have during my shows and it hasn't been a problem in the past.
