I have an integrated card now and it's really busting my balls.

I need suggestions.

I'm looking to spend under $100

I got a free pci express 16x slot

2 gigs of ram (4 512mb ddr2 sticks at 667MHz

and an AMD Athlon 64 2.1 x2 dual core 4000 cpu.

halp.

system requirements lab is telling me that's the only reason team fortress 2 isn't running well on my computer, my graphics card. it's recomending me some cheap 256mb cards. Should I just do that?

also, i'd like it to support dual 19" widescreen monitors.

$20? after rebate.
just get it to get it and see if it helps if not its $20 right?
you could go all out and buy the newest ATI or Nvidia card for a mere $500 to go with your fast cpu.

if you can find an 8800gt those can be had for about $120 right now... uhhh i'd say shell out $150 if you can and get an Ati Radeon 4850 nothing will beat that for the price range atm

I liked my radeon chipset. the only thing is that their all-in-wonder bridge is on card. sucks. but you don't want a tv anyhow.

I don't need an 8800gt or ati 4850.

I don't play serious video games. I play tf2 once in a while and my integrated card works for that, but I want something that runs ever so slightly better.

then just blow 20 bones and be done with it? then when you go to get a better game, get a new computer.
