Because you're in the same town and stuff and we've never met, I'm curious as to what your "studio" is. I know you've breifly mentioned it before, so I'm curious.
I may be doing a short/simple side project (death/doom metal I think) with around 15-20 minutes of demo material. Do you have an acoustic or real drum set or no? I've got an electronic one in my apartment but obviously, acousic is better. Let me know

I have access to an acoustic kit, in fact it should be here before fri. What kind of electronic kit do you have? I ask this because I have ez drummer with DFH. We might be able to hook your kit to the EZD and from there the sounds are pretty much whatever you want.
As far as recording goes, I run sonar 6.1 producer with 2 presonus firepods, pretty much every single Waves plug-in available, all kinds of mics and a ton of other stuff.
The actual recording space is my bedroom in my house (which bigger than most peoples' condos/apartments)
Dude you know where I live, come down take a look, have a beer(or whatever your poison is) take a listen and then let me know.
