just mystic river again last night, wow really good

also loved gone baby gone

and thought the ending of departed sucked

I thought Mystic River was one of the most over hyped, horribly scripted/acted movies I have ever seen. GBG was such a better attempt. Departed for the win though.

the end of the departed was beyond stupid, even though dertoxia thinks that I dont get it, shit was laaaaame

should have just turned into a black screen with teeny font lettering (to further annoy everyone) reading "and then everyone died in a nuclear holocaust with no relation to the script", would have been equally as creative

every time I think about it I visualize a comic-book guy esque fat fanboy screenwriter sitting over a computer screen with a self congratulating smile on his face thinking "oh yes, this...(slurping inhale)... is groundbreaking cinema..(slurping exhale)"

The ending of The Departed kicked so much ass. The original asian movie that The Departed is nearly 100% based on is also supposed to be nasty. Maybe even nastier.

The guy getting shot made perfect sense. Just watch the movie again.
