when i found out derek's new band was playing i decided to go..awesome show!

black my heart: this is derekx's (ex-shallows and flats, tears of avarel, the:enclitic) new band. it's also got that guitar player from the farewell chapter (the one that fell a lot). there was a fight during their set to.. I'm not sure why. people got into their last song, guess they knew it.

blacklisted: it's funy with all the X's that the singer was wearing a whiskey shirt. ah.. irony... someone should write a song about it. I'd never heard or heard of these guys.

the distance: this is my second time seeing them. they got so much better. last show (6 months ago) I was very unimpressed. this time, this live show was so much better. the singer's voice got a lot stronger and everyone jumps around.

comeback kid: kids went off for them just like the last time. I got a bunch of shots with people in front of the camera.

deaththreat: wow.. they've gotten so much older since the last time I saw them (2002). I'm don't know much about them, but I think they only played 3 of their older songs. lots of people jumped up to the mic and sang along (coa & db4d).

There were at least 4 scuffles during that show. As always at the ICC Church, people have no idea how to move up against the pit and everyone gets pushed to the back for 5 kids moshing. Just use your weight to push back, people, don't keep moving back.

Walked in and some girl immediatly headbutted another girl for no apparent reason. Gotta love that high school spite.
