CARCASS: Worcester, Baltimore Dates Added To U.S. Tour - July 3, 2008
Reactivated British extreme metal pioneers CARCASS have scheduled more U.S. dates (Worcester and Baltimore) in September. Their North American itinerary is now shaping up as follows:

Sep. 05 - Palladium - Worcester, MA
Sep. 06 - Nokia Theatre - New York, NY
Sep. 07 - Medley - Montreal, QUE
Sep. 08 - Opera House - Toronto, ONT
Sep. 11 - Sonar - Baltimore, MD

Of all the old school, ultra-classic, important, seminal DM bands, Carcass always did the least for me.. The only record I truly love is Heartwork. The other records are cool but whateva... I definitely want to see this show, but I don't really feel as excited as most seem to be. I'd be more excited just to see Morbid Angel again, even though I've already seen them several times.

Call me when they resurrect Chuck and Death tours again.

Unless they're playing mostly Symphonies stuff I really don't care. There's no way they'll play Reek stuff and I already saw them on the Necroticism tour anyways. They're not going to be better in 2008 than they were in 1992.

When I saw them in PA in '94 they also did the Ruptured intro right into Heartwork, I believe. After the show I met Bill Steer and asked why no vocals and he told me the doctors said stop or you'll permanently damage your throat. I hope that he is capable of doing vocals again. Some of those songs without him would be a lot less enjoyable.

thats kinda funny, cause when at the gates played on friday, all i kept thinkin was that his voice sounds TOTALLY different due to 12 years of screaming since slaughter of the soul. It still was crushing though.
