Fuck It! I'll just paint my mountain bike and pedal my ass around! it's a nice bike i got a while back but the color isn't my thing at all so, it really hasn't seen much action at all. it's fucking yellow but it's a Cannondale. i want to paint it flat black (metal). has anyone ever done anything like this? i could use some tips if anyone has any? i know how to take the bike apart and spray paint the frame but, how many coats do you think? and do i really have to sand it? fuck it, if you can help out, say so, tanx

fuck... i fucked it up royally. the chain has a kink in it i can't get out and there is no master link. i'm trying to talk a bud into letting me use his bmx. i got a little mad at the chain and twisted it so i think it needs a new fucking one. what a bitch. |

or if your really cheap you could have a shop bust out the kink for cheaper

thanks man, i said fuck it and brought it to the shop. i ended up twisting the chain along with the gear thing? they are going to fix it for 20 bucks. i hate when something seems so simple but it ends up being a nightmare. |

honestly, if they're fixing it for 20 buxxx thats hardly a nightmare, plenty of places would tell you you need a new johnson rod and the price would just go up from there |

also, i want to advise you to sand that shit before you paint it, buuut, considering that its yellow it might look cooler if you DONT sand and let the paint flake off revealing little flecks of yellow everywhere |

i didn't end up sanding the thing. i just sprayed it 3 times but you are right, there are yellow flakes showing. this just makes me say "why'd i do this in the first place", but fuck it, once it's up and running, i really won't care how it looks anymore. haha |
