i am deathly afraid of thunderstroms.. main reason being lightening smashing trees into my house. i had a dream last night in which my eth head friend was driving my ar down a winding road super fast.. and we were going to die ...it was to the point of impact when i woke up all i ould see was this life threateneing storm and i hated my life for a minute.
we had a pretty brutal lightening storm last summer.. watched it from the cabby shack's deck in plymouth ..no rain just shards of lightening exploding over the ocean.

I was out on my balcony sitting back and watching just the flashes of light sans the thunder for a bit. it was pretty surreal to see the lighting but have no thunder.
that was wild, i don't think i've ever seen wind that powerful that wasn't during a hurricane. there are trees down all over Worcester. we were standing on our porch last night watching the storm, and a huge limb fell from the tree right in front of us and smashed into our neighbors car, that was sweet. on my walk this morning i saw trees everywhere.

I felt incredibly metal driving home from work last night in that...Nile - Even the Gods Must Die was on Hard Attack for most of the way home (I'm driving my dad's car, and he has Sirius.)
I didn't see any full trees or REALLY big branches downed, but there were shitloads of twigs, and a few moderate-sized ones. Enough that I had to slow down to 15-ish MPH to navigate through them at a couple of points...hahaha.
Thunderstorms are awesome except for when you are watching an intense basketball game on satelite tv. then i hate them dearly. or maybe i just hate satelite tv.
