New site? Maybe some day.

Yeah so some of it is cheesy, and each album seems to vary greatly in tone, prod qual. and direction but i must admit, i genuinely like some of the stuff these guys have offered over the years. I just bought a bunch of crap on itunes to reconstitute the cd's I have had but lost over the years. you could go on and on picking these guys apart: "to simple," and this and that--I would agree with you, but the 9th grader in me really likes the epic, mid paced shit, i.e., years of enlightenment, and bound in chains. some of the hooks are money..and seem to have set the standard in some respects, for some of the more profitable bands (which i very much dislike) today. i could be wrong... |

Temple of Knowledge is there best. |

Sorcery and The Mystical Gate of Reincarnation are classics. |

I haven't heard Prevail yet. Is it better than their last one? Hopefully no more Kittie collabos. |

my girlfriend loves kataklysm. i don't listen to them much anymore, but i always enjoyed the old stuff. |
