i hope, the crown, devourment, regurgitate, sect of excecration, pig destroyer, bury your dead, the red chord, CBT, sanitys dawn,mortal decay, but I doubt any will play

I hope the following bands DON'T play metalfest:
Opeth, Skycamefalling, Poison the Well, PESSIMIST (please for fucking once i'd like not to have to deal with pessimist), Jag Panzer, Eightteen Visions, Nora, Blood Audio, Catastrophic, From Autumn To Ashes, Mastodon, Averse Sefira or ANY fucking bands from Lost Disciple, November's Doom, and Burial because they're lazy. I think that covers a decent amount of crappy hardcore AND metal bands. The metal fest always astounds me in it's ability to book a pile of mediocre generic death metal bands, and over rated gay metalcore bands and leave out tons of great bands.

And an All Out War reunion would be sweeeet.

pig destroyer, creation is crucifixion, isis, everytime i die, daughters, a life once lost, there were wires, the dillinger escape plan, nile, converge, circle of dead children, the acacia strain, this day forward, etc. etc.

hell fest this year sucked metal fest is always a good time sans extreme amounts of talent but good times all around none the less Skate Fest day three was a blast this year i had a ton of fun except for the last few bands however anyone that went can tell you that Andrew W.K. live is the most amazing thing in the world even Aaron who got a girl because of me during that set liked him

i happen to like November's Doom... and on their site it says that they are confirmed to play. I dont mind CoF's first release... it wasnt half bad but it sucks that they are playing this year because the last thing this fest needs is a bunch of mall core, ICP worshipping, "goth", lame-o faggots that think they are evil. i mean, we get enough of that with the necrobobbsledders that think they are tr00, wear corpsepaint, and sport Korn hats. also, they should keep the hardcore to the upper stage and the death metal/real metal on the main stage much like it was back in 2001. and Rhapsody is rumored to play?! i'm glad hate eternal is still playing. when the updated lineup was announced on like wednesday, and i got the email from massconcerts, hate eternal was not on it, kataklysm was scheduled for friday, and killswitch was on saturday. and i think they were a couple of other differences from the latest schedule.

I saw overkill once.
it was awesome, should have brought my camera, but it was back when I was just starting out taking pictures at shows (over 3 years ago).
The lead singer is awesome for the fact that during the guitar solos he gets off the stage and let's them play.
thumbs down to the lighting though. it's like 25 car's pointing their highbeams at you.

yeah "Blood Audio" was also an ex-Overkill project and that was the audio equivilent of richard simmons sticking his dick in my ear. TERRIBLE.

yeah i remember blood audio from last year's fest. horrible horrible. but i have a good feeling speedkillhate is better. it features more members and is thrash, not like industrial or whatever
