OK, so we started talk of an RTTP hockey game in the hockey ball to the face thread. I am always down for playing hockey if it is local. I made a suggestion about UMASS Dartmouths outdoor street hockey rink. It's full size, great shape, full boards, benches, penalty box all the good stuff. If we can get a game going at UMASS Dartmouth I can bring a grill down and we can get a small cookout going at the same time too. If your down for it post up. Maybe we can get a big ass game going!

can you get you self a stick? Thats all you really need for street hockey. You can snag a stick cheap down the street from UMASS at dicks if need be.

I can also supply full goalie gear aside from pads (not going to mess them up on street) and a stick for a single person. Perhaps I can get my brother to suit his lazy ass up and play net.

i really want to play, but i need to get in shape first, get some rollerblades and other gear, and get used to being a dad before i can join in. hopefully this happens more than once because i'd probably be able to do it by the end of the summer.

There's a good street/roller hockey rink a minute away from my house in Sullivan Square in Charlestown, it's got parking too. There's also the advantage of having a postgame cookout on my deck and slayin' some beers khed.

I back this idea along with a secondary kickball game at a later or earlier date.
