what's have a crusade headed for Saudi Arabia or maybe the exxon, shell, and other oil company's office headquarters. |
easy solution: get a huffy. |
yeah0 thats what they want, us to waste moar gaz |
my gas gauge is on E. after tomorrow, i'm parking that shit. fuck that, i have a bike and a beer gut to work off anyway. |
I spend ~$50 to fill up 3/4 of a tank. Life sucks. |
Hmmm. I'll need to fill my Hummer tomorrow. I'll let you know. $300 sounds about right. Should last a day. |
I got a new car and although I haven't filled it yet it cost me about $30 for a 1/2 tank at $3.69/Gal. |
it costs me around $80 to fill up from empty. i fill up once a week. i'm sure there are tons of people who have it worse, but i don't enjoy my gas situation. |
i remember when i litterally could fill my bike with change out of my pocket. the other day it took 14 dollars, obviously not as bad as my truck but still a huge difference |
$53- full tank, subaru outback impreza. bummin.. |
Why'd you put super in your hybrid? aren't they rated for 87 octane? |
my truck was right on the 40$ mark when I filled it yeasterday from empty. It's only got a 10 gallon tank. |
lol, must be a helluva' truck 'ol boy.. |
It's a vauxhall brava mini truck, turbo dump, notched, and bagged.
i had to cave in so i could get home. said "fuck it" and filled the bitch to the tune of $56.
the good news is that my car just doubled in value. |
nico: super adds like 10% on to my miles. i did about 3 mpg better that tank. |
I just pumped $70 and change into my tank yesterday. Yay. |
I just got a motorcycle. Hopefully it pays for itself in gas overtime. |
shit like this makes me want to buy a regular bike.
but i'd rather pay for gas then not pay and look like a faggot. |
where are you from that riding a bike gets you labeled a faggot? |

haha that was my exact response |
im at the movies and admit loling at that. |
guess i'm a faggot then. a faggot that saves about 100 bucks a week over the rest of you. not to mention i'm in better shape at 28 than i was at 18.
fuck all yall
remember: Deepest Loyal Caccophony |
when i pumped gas last summer i dispensed 419.98$ into some guys huge boat, that was when shit was under 3 dollars |
I just got a motorcycle. Hopefully it pays for itself in gas overtime. |
This man knows.
a decent non sporty 500cc will get at least 60 MPG, not to mention insurance is only a couple hundred bucks a year. |

a standing ovation for once again saying one of the dumbest things ever posted on this forum. riding a bicycle makes you a faggot? there are some serious issues going in your head. riding a bicycle is one of the smartest things a person can do right now. not even just right now, but it makes sense even more now. ugh, IDIOT. |
it only makes you a faggot if you ride with the bicycle seat removed. |
last week, 49.99
this week 50.50
suck my hyrbid driving 44mpg asshole douchbags.
still seriously, wtf! |
yeah out here its four and a quarter so live it up eastcoast while you can 5bucks by summertime. |
im still dumbfounded by all this "hybrid" talk. These car companies are passing off these cars with "OH MY GOD 40+ MPG" as being revolutionary and new. I'm not to young to remember my parents late 70's era VW rabbit that got over 60MPG. That's 40 year old technology. What the hell is going on right now? We should be driving 400 horse, 12 cylinder super cars that get over 100mpg. But instead we brag to each other about our tiny little hybrids that get a miracle 35mpg.
Of course i drive an exploder and get 16mpg so i have no room to complain but still....a tiny car should get good gas milage. Rev does the car you drive come in a non-hybrid version? I bet it gets like 32mpg which is freakin stupid because tiny non-hybrids should be getting at least 50 while a hybrid version should be up in the 70's.
It just seems so stupid that people go ape shit for a car that gets anything higher than 30mpg when if cars were build right and the technology advances that i'm sure we've had were actually put into cars, i'm sure we'd have 100+ MPG by now. |

and replace it with a dildo.
I remember being a young boy and asking my uncle what he would be if he was reincarnated, I had just learned what that was. His reply, a hot woman's bicycle seat. |

You sir do not understand that oil companies pay off car companies to not develop new technology for better fuel use. would you want something that made you lose money when you were making tons of it already.
I'm sure a 10 million dollar check would be enough to stop 100mpg cars from being put out by ford or toyota.
And I do remember hearing about a book that was about some hybrid car that had 100mpg and was cheap to buy, it was getting rave reviews and now it's not sold anymore |
i figured out originally that my hybrid made economic sense for 2.80+ per gallon over the non hybrid.
i kept it 65mph for the ride home and did 49.5mpg |
woah....what fucking VW rabbit EVER got 60 mpg????
I think thats a bit of an exaggeration, no? |
There is nothing gay about my bike.
Its a mongoose and is pretty rad! |

still awesome mileage. How much was it, I'm guessing 30,000 range?
I get about 35 on the highway, toyota corolla, the People's car.
My 1994 Lincoln Mark 8 (v8) gets 33 mpg highway. |
30 grand on a car? are you fucking smoking dope?
it was 18.8K |
btw the non-hybrid of what i had (but it had a moon roof) was 16.2 |

I was guessing before but i asked my parents and it was a 1981 VW Rabbit. It ran diesel but it did get something like 62MPG highway. I know my uncle was a big muckity muck with VW back then before he started doing PR work for Porsche in the mid 80's (cha ching), so it may have even been a European import. |
53.21 a couple days ago... when the gas was 3.89. now it's 4.0m! wtf!!
I just filled from "E" for 53 when it used to be around 38.
Retarded. |

He's right.
wow, 50 whole miles to the gallon.
A regular diezel does better then that. and costs like less then half of that to buy.
The VW Lupo was rated at about 80 miles to the gallon in 2005 and cost over 10 grand less then the prius in 2005
Same story with the ford fiesta, which was cabable of going 125-135 miles an an hour, and would accelerate 0 to 60 in the amount of time it takes you to admire someone's fucking 'coexist' sticker. |
gas stations are a conspiracy all these derka derkas are gonna blow all their little family owned gas stations up at the same time one day and take a fucking crater out of america..... i now hand a man roughly 4 bucks a gallon who has cousins driving plains into shit across town......CONSPIRACY!
oh and they have the balls to mutter "have goood day" when you walk away...fuckers |
um.. gas stations are the losers in this. they make pennies on a gallon, but since you pay with a CC now the amount that the CC takes (which is based on dollars) goes up while the margines goes down. the ones making the moneys are the people in the middle-east pumping it and the big companies that ship it over here and refine it. |
1) diesel is $4.88 a gallon (18% more than regular)
2) non-hybrid gets around 33mpg, I get 44mpg and it only cost $2,800 more but I also got a $2,000 tax break. When I did the math, it broke even around $2.85 a gallon. with gas at $4.09, I win.
with those 2 points, everyone in america iz idiots and everyone in the world wants to be like us, idiots. I'm bring my car in for regular tune ups and hoping it lasts for over 250K. there is no reason that we shouldn't have cars that do 1million miles other than that we iz idiots. |
Watch it. |
IDIOTS DID IT.
and that's what we need a car that runs off the electrical product of coal. IDIOTS! |

They did claim to have figures that proved that the added electricity used to charge these cars would still pollute/consume less than if the cars ran on gas (even if the plant was coal-fired). Then again, figures lie and liars figure. |

also gas is now 4.70 in the city shit is unreal |
I am a fucking anomaly. Actually, I'm more of a libertarian than a liberal. |
Also, I would totally buy an electric truck -- as long as it had 300hp and got 350 miles to a charge. |
I filled up this morning and when I pulled up to the pump the last sale was reading $100.00. Sure hope whoever it was is getting good mileage out of those 24 gallons. |
I got rid of my second car, and now walk to work. Luckily my job is only a 15-minute walk from my house.... |
we've been dropping around a hundred a day to get around the mid west.
at this point i think we're just gonna get three motorcycles and chain a trailer with our gear to them |
that's what manowar would do! |
Cost me 96.78 to fill up my mothers expedition the other day. |
electric bikes ftw!!!
or some kind of motorized bike for under 500 bucks would remedy this problem in cities.
I sure can't wait for college when I won't have a car.
and when I graduate I'm going to try to live withing a 30 minute walk of my job.
Mark my words, 20 more years tops and cars will be obsolete dinosaurs.

I was ready to kill a man when gas started getting even more ridiculously expensive than it was before, but now I'm feeling some relief since my boss is now paying me $.40 per mile that I drive to and from work, minus the first 20 miles. On average I drive 80-100 miles per work day, in a Toyota Corolla that gets 33-38 mpg. I fucking win on this one. If the gas wasn't so pricey I would never have gotten this benefit. To make it even better, I'm getting retroactive pay for all the mileage I've put on my car since April 28th. Fuck yeah. But, obviously gas prices are still retarded. Thank fucking Christ I have job security. |
the next is going to kill me. |

Actually $.40 is below the mileage rate for business miles -- I get the max which is $.505/mile. But then again, I get reimbursed for road trips (sales calls, etc.), not driving to and from the office from home, so that's a pretty good deal for you. Also, the mileage is supposed to cover gas, service and wear & tear. |
Also, your Corolla is making out much better than my Tundra Double-Cab. |
yeah, the .505 per mile actually means that I can't claim mileage on rttp this year cause I can't lose that much money. |
Just got a Blazer a couple weeks ago, so I'm doing 20 MPG (if I don't drive like an asshole), and a bit over $60 to fill it up, and last time I filled it up prices were at $3.95/gallon. Last night they were at $4.05, didn't even see where they're at today. |
prices came down a little. sweet life! |

I am in fact smoking dope.... and live in the city so i walk everywhere... and my cars just died so i dont have a choice anyways.. lame |
