they suck because they dress up in retarted outfits and play daughters gay grind with synths. stupidest fucking band ever. i have their mini cd, and ive seen them live. what outfit were they in tonight, the bug masks with short shorts? their songs are 30 seconds long and sound like a retard fell on top of a keyboard and got some drummer to blast over it.

a smelly sweaty night at the palladium.

orthrelm: they came out and just shredded it up. about 5 minutes into their set, someone finally realized that they were playing and killed the lights. they didn't stop once during their whole set.

your enemys friend: I heard that they were going to be a "buddy head band". much like the icarus line. I really don't like icarus line... but this band wasn't that band. not as arty. they reminded me of someone but I couldn't figure out who.

the locust: white outfits this time. Funny to watch a band sweating through a white suit. They played pretty good, but it was over so quickly. a lot of people rocking out and clapping. after their last song, it seemed like a lot of people left.

dillinger escape plan: people crawling all over themselved and screaming along with dep. their new stuff sounded really heavy live. the tracks that I've heard online that they did from the new CD aren't as hard on the CD as they played them live.

it was a great time.

i can't believe i missed this....fuck new jersey for a $400 ticket for drinking a beer in a parking lot...i'm broke...

Dillinger's (not so) new singer is sooooooo unbelievably fucking good. He has the nastiest scream, can go super high and has an awesome singing voice. He was extremely impressive and i think he was way better than Dimitri. Jolly good show.

i said it 10 times yesterday but .. too bad mike wasn't playing with them

Back in '95, I was in a band with Dylan from SD's Struggle and another friend, Dave when they crashed at my place for a summer. Both are now in Tarantula Hawk. That was Horrendous Cut-throat System in Seattle. It was your basic crustcore of the 90's. Dave had a moog and we incorpoarated it into some of the songs. That moog was so stupid, I mean you could just tard out on that thing.

We played a bunch of shows for a summer and then Dylan and Dave went back down to SD and Locust was formed. I think it's pretty fucking funny that that band is still around. I actually had no idea they still used a moog. Some shit never grows old to some people I guess.

I heart moogs..
and today is the day, I like the cds better than live.
this was actually an off performance for them imho
