Makes sense by today's gas standards, but not the dollars of 2005 or whenever it was.

Oh yeah, they also asked to jump on the show last minute, and then said "We're gonna need a $400 guarantee" the third email in. WTF?

it was a couple of years ago. Brian knows about it. I mean, it's been a while, so perhaps they do things differently now. I'm not opposed to guarantees, I'm opposed to bands imposing a guarantee after asking to jump on a show last minute and then claiming it's only to cover gas. Nowadays, fine, $150 is barely a tank, but gas has jumped up a huge notch as of late. Then it seemed like more of a scam.
