toggletoggle post by Revocation at May 6,2008 7:22pm
we used Pete'a Engl Savage with my Mockingbird and Ken's 6505+ with my Warrior

toggletoggle post by blue  at May 6,2008 7:23pm
savage huh? interesting, couldnt really get into the one i played. i knew i could hear the 5150 in there.

toggletoggle post by blue  at May 6,2008 7:25pm
hah, i totally have thought to myself before 'he should do a trem flutter in that harmonic break in suffer these wounds' several times. glad you picked up on my thoughts there.

toggletoggle post by thegreatspaldino   at May 6,2008 7:27pm
this shit rules... and i only have heard the first song.

funny... earlier this morning at like 8 am, i looked at your myspace to see if you had any new songs up. guess i was 11 hours early.

toggletoggle post by ZJD   at May 6,2008 7:33pm
New stuff sounds a lot more "mature" than the demo songs.
Busier bass in Suffer These Wounds is pretty sweet.
Vocals are more powerful. Vocals that I assume are Anthony's are great.
End of Fields of Predation is fucking heavy.

I want to hear Exhumed Identity.

toggletoggle post by DaveFromTheGrave  at May 6,2008 7:36pm
FUCKIN BRUTAL.

toggletoggle post by DaveFromTheGrave  at May 6,2008 7:37pm
Who did the artwork?

toggletoggle post by ZJD   at May 6,2008 7:37pm
I do hate the cover though. I think I'm the only one.

toggletoggle post by Kinslayer at May 6,2008 7:37pm
retarded...

this release is going to get y'all niggaz signed...really.

toggletoggle post by antny at May 6,2008 7:37pm
Par Olafsson. He's done Deeds of Flesh, Psycroptic, Spawn of Possession and a bunch of others.

toggletoggle post by ZJD   at May 6,2008 7:42pm
Also, and take this however you want, the first few seconds of Fields of Predation sound like Opeth.

toggletoggle post by mortalis  at May 6,2008 8:48pm
clean vocals on age of iniquity caught me off guard, but i like. sweet stuff.

toggletoggle post by the_taste_of_cigarettes  at May 6,2008 8:48pm
This band gets better and better all the time

This record sounds so slick it's crazy

toggletoggle post by sinistas   at May 6,2008 8:58pm
Fucking Christ.

I'm so fucking stoked for this.

Yeah that part is bascially RAOV worship, I think I sound like Andy on the chorus which is cool

shit sets the bar high for 08 yo!

I have an eternal boner.

toggletoggle post by narkybark   at May 7,2008 12:35am
this is white hot right here.

You can really tell the difference between older tunes and newer tunes.
Plus those vocals are all-out and kicking my ass.

toggletoggle post by RichHorror  at May 7,2008 12:36am
Psyched for the CD release show d00dz

toggletoggle post by s.axl.beckett at May 7,2008 12:37am
that fields of inquiry opening riff is always stuck in my head. now it is doubly so.
Oh yeah and everybody remember to burn your guitar completely so that you remember
how ashamed this album made you about being a "guitar player."

toggletoggle post by dreadkill  at May 7,2008 9:21am
finally got to listen this morning. i love it. the vocals are so good. i've said it before, i'm really happy you guys never found a vocalist when you were looking for one because you really never needed a new one. i can't wait for this to come out.

Yeah, I wish I was half the guitar player Dave is. This band rules. I am going to light my guitars and myself on fire this evening.

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at May 7,2008 10:07am
I would love to take pictures of that, but it would smell horrible.

You would have to take one for the team.

Thank you all for the kind words. We genuinely appreciate them and all the awesome support we get from the local scene. We will rep MA and New England to the best of our abilities when we're on tour. Speaking of which, check out the tour flyer..

toggletoggle post by RichHorror  at May 7,2008 12:37pm
haha The Shit Space and Wasted City sound like they'll be a good blacked out time.

toggletoggle post by brownonomer  at May 7,2008 12:38pm
Usually I'm not really into this kind of stuff too much, but I must say, this is pretty damn good.

We're playing VT in June. My guitarist lived there for a while and said there's this beer that you can only get in grocery stores and only comes in jugs. He said it's completely toxic and mind-melting. I'll have to find out the name for you fellers.

toggletoggle post by antny at May 7,2008 2:00pm
I love drinking out of jugs. I feel just like a real slack-jawed yokel.

toggletoggle post by ConquerTheBaphomet  at May 7,2008 9:15pm
Holy

crap.

These songs blow everything you've guys have done out of the water. Hat tip to you.

toggletoggle post by AUTOPSY_666   at May 7,2008 10:40pm
Unique Leader and Willowtip should start a bidding war.

toggletoggle post by ArrowHeadNLI at May 8,2008 12:14am
Those songs are good, and the artwork is fucking amazing. This is going to be one of those albums that makes kids dance in the mirror pretending they're in Revocation.

Those riffs are fucking killer.

toggletoggle post by Martins   at May 8,2008 12:34am
I can't get over how awesome this stuff is.

toggletoggle post by Griffgasm6000 at May 8,2008 9:27am

willowtip.

toggletoggle post by dreadkill  at May 8,2008 1:48pm
i don't know if this question has been asked and answered yet, but when does this come out? i want it NOW!

toggletoggle post by anthony at May 8,2008 2:06pm
I am gonna put a pre-order up on the Myspace soon, but depending on how close we actually get the CDs to when we leave for tour I may not be able to ship them until we get back. Which is June 15th.

If you're local, the fastest way you'll likely get your hands on a CD is to just come buy one at our CD release show... Wed. June 18th at Great Scott with Rampant Decay, Panzerbastard, and Sexcrement.

toggletoggle post by sinistas   at May 8,2008 2:15pm
are you going to have the album available through any online services? I'd totally buy the album in a passable audio format to tide me over until the actual cds are finished...

toggletoggle post by anthony at May 8,2008 2:16pm edited May 8,2008 2:17pm
We were thinking of putting up a Snocap player on the Myspace so people can buy each track individually, but things are still kinda pending right now as far as record labels and other pressings of this CD beyond the first self-released run, so we're gonna wait on that.

toggletoggle post by sinistas   at May 8,2008 2:20pm
drat. haha

thats a fucking rock and roll show right there

toggletoggle post by anthony at May 8,2008 2:23pm
Sorry dude! Actually we were planning on having the entire CD streaming on the Myspace for like a 1-2 week period just so people could check out the whole thing but unfortunately there is a 4 track maximum.

toggletoggle post by RichHorror  at May 8,2008 2:38pm
Oh rad, Sexcrement confirmed.

toggletoggle post by anthony at May 8,2008 2:39pm
Oh hell yes! That show is gonna rockz0rz

toggletoggle post by sinistas   at May 8,2008 2:40pm
you could rotate the songs...

haha

toggletoggle post by RichHorror  at May 8,2008 2:42pm
And I think the limit on MySpace is 6 songs now. Not that that helps you put all the tracks up.

toggletoggle post by anthony at May 8,2008 2:45pm
I think if we can't put the whole thing up, putting up a sampler of 4 is better than just putting up half of it. I really can't wait for people to hear the whole thing though.. there is a lot of diversity. A couple of straight-up thrashier tracks, some wicked rockin solo-laden tracks and 2 instrumental tracks.

toggletoggle post by chris_from_shit_fuck  at May 8,2008 3:08pm
The tunes sound fucking amazing, defenitly will be at the cd release show. If you guys need another band by any chance, please let us know we'd love to thrash with you guys again.

toggletoggle post by jere nli at May 8,2008 4:52pm
holy fucking shit....as ALWAYS insane guitar work, and backed with great production, im fucking floored...congradulations you guys, you should all be proud as fuck about this!!

toggletoggle post by BackjobWentinSubmission at May 9,2008 3:57am
So how long before this shit starts to explode and you guys have your little tees in Hot Topic?

toggletoggle post by TheFilthyFrenchman at May 10,2008 2:16pm

toggletoggle post by BlackoutRick at May 11,2008 7:28pm
Fuckin sickest band from Boston right now. Pete has gotten better behind the board as well. Does he still have that Dell lap top?

toggletoggle post by blue  at May 11,2008 7:30pm
they definetly did this at ken susi's studio.

toggletoggle post by corpus_colostomy at May 11,2008 7:31pm
i heard you can bounce a quarter off susi's bunghole.

toggletoggle post by BlackoutRick at May 11,2008 7:32pm
Also, the vox remind me of Ben Falgoust.

blue said[orig][quote]

Sorta... we only did the drums there and the re-amping of guitars after they were all done. The actual bulk of time doing guitar and bass tracks was just direct in Dave's basement using Pete's laptop. Vox we did at Pete's practice space in Fitchburg.

toggletoggle post by Dave_Maggot   at May 11,2008 8:04pm
dude, that shit fucking kicks ass. i wanna own that right now

toggletoggle post by blue  at May 11,2008 8:09pm

toggletoggle post by infect  at May 12,2008 9:15am

shits NARRRSTYY,
but what i particularly like is these guys ability to instill self loathing in all lesser musicians hahahahah

toggletoggle post by infect  at May 12,2008 9:15am
oh yea, some day you guys have to explain to me what "re-amping" is
good luck on tour

toggletoggle post by sinistas   at May 12,2008 9:48am
Re-amping, I believe, is running a recorded guitar part through an amp, and recording it again. I could be wrong though.

toggletoggle post by brian_dc  at May 12,2008 10:02am
yeah, you use a direct box to push a previous recorded signal from the software back out to amps to re-record/layer/whatever
