New site? Maybe some day.
sweet (that these are up, i havent listened yet) |
I'm barely halfway into the first song and my ass is already thoroughly kicked. |
and the vocals are liek BEHOLD I AM THE ULTRA DAVIDSON GRRAAARRRR
whatd you use for amps this time? |
we used Pete'a Engl Savage with my Mockingbird and Ken's 6505+ with my Warrior |
savage huh? interesting, couldnt really get into the one i played. i knew i could hear the 5150 in there. |
hah, i totally have thought to myself before 'he should do a trem flutter in that harmonic break in suffer these wounds' several times. glad you picked up on my thoughts there. |
this shit rules... and i only have heard the first song.
funny... earlier this morning at like 8 am, i looked at your myspace to see if you had any new songs up. guess i was 11 hours early. |
New stuff sounds a lot more "mature" than the demo songs.
Busier bass in Suffer These Wounds is pretty sweet.
Vocals are more powerful. Vocals that I assume are Anthony's are great.
End of Fields of Predation is fucking heavy.
I want to hear Exhumed Identity. |
I do hate the cover though. I think I'm the only one. |
retarded...
this release is going to get y'all niggaz signed...really. |
Par Olafsson. He's done Deeds of Flesh, Psycroptic, Spawn of Possession and a bunch of others. |
Also, and take this however you want, the first few seconds of Fields of Predation sound like Opeth. |
clean vocals on age of iniquity caught me off guard, but i like. sweet stuff. |
This band gets better and better all the time
This record sounds so slick it's crazy |
Fucking Christ.
I'm so fucking stoked for this.
I do hate the cover though. I think I'm the only one. |
sure does remind me of Cybertron |

Yeah that part is bascially RAOV worship, I think I sound like Andy on the chorus which is cool |
shit sets the bar high for 08 yo!
awesome work, guys. Ultra impressed. |
this is white hot right here.
You can really tell the difference between older tunes and newer tunes.
Plus those vocals are all-out and kicking my ass. |
Psyched for the CD release show d00dz |
that fields of inquiry opening riff is always stuck in my head. now it is doubly so.
Oh yeah and everybody remember to burn your guitar completely so that you remember
how ashamed this album made you about being a "guitar player." |
finally got to listen this morning. i love it. the vocals are so good. i've said it before, i'm really happy you guys never found a vocalist when you were looking for one because you really never needed a new one. i can't wait for this to come out. |
Oh yeah and everybody remember to burn your guitar completely so that you remember how ashamed this album made you about being a "guitar player." |
i oft feel this way after seeing dave rip... |
You guys are gonna take over the world, I swear it. |
This is my impression of the first four notes of the guitar solo in Fields...:
Wee woo WEEEEEEEEEE waoowwwwwwwwwww
bad ass |

Yeah, I wish I was half the guitar player Dave is. This band rules. I am going to light my guitars and myself on fire this evening. |
I would love to take pictures of that, but it would smell horrible. |
I would love to take pictures of that, but it would smell horrible. |
You would have to take one for the team. |
Thank you all for the kind words. We genuinely appreciate them and all the awesome support we get from the local scene. We will rep MA and New England to the best of our abilities when we're on tour. Speaking of which, check out the tour flyer..
haha The Shit Space and Wasted City sound like they'll be a good blacked out time. |
Usually I'm not really into this kind of stuff too much, but I must say, this is pretty damn good. |
haha The Shit Space and Wasted City sound like they'll be a good blacked out time. |
Haha yeah.. tour isn't good for your liver. |
We're playing VT in June. My guitarist lived there for a while and said there's this beer that you can only get in grocery stores and only comes in jugs. He said it's completely toxic and mind-melting. I'll have to find out the name for you fellers. |
I love drinking out of jugs. I feel just like a real slack-jawed yokel. |
Holy
crap.
These songs blow everything you've guys have done out of the water. Hat tip to you. |
Unique Leader and Willowtip should start a bidding war. |
Those songs are good, and the artwork is fucking amazing. This is going to be one of those albums that makes kids dance in the mirror pretending they're in Revocation.
Those riffs are fucking killer. |
I can't get over how awesome this stuff is. |
You guys just straight up fucking dominate mad faces. |
This is going to be one of those albums that makes kids dance in the mirror pretending they're in Revocation.
I do that already.
WEE WOO WAOOW WEEEOWWW |
i don't know if this question has been asked and answered yet, but when does this come out? i want it NOW! |
I am gonna put a pre-order up on the Myspace soon, but depending on how close we actually get the CDs to when we leave for tour I may not be able to ship them until we get back. Which is June 15th.
If you're local, the fastest way you'll likely get your hands on a CD is to just come buy one at our CD release show... Wed. June 18th at Great Scott with Rampant Decay, Panzerbastard, and Sexcrement. |
are you going to have the album available through any online services? I'd totally buy the album in a passable audio format to tide me over until the actual cds are finished... |
We were thinking of putting up a Snocap player on the Myspace so people can buy each track individually, but things are still kinda pending right now as far as record labels and other pressings of this CD beyond the first self-released run, so we're gonna wait on that. |
Wed. June 18th at Great Scott with Rampant Decay, Panzerbastard, and Sexcrement. |
thats a fucking rock and roll show right there |
Sorry dude! Actually we were planning on having the entire CD streaming on the Myspace for like a 1-2 week period just so people could check out the whole thing but unfortunately there is a 4 track maximum. |
Oh rad, Sexcrement confirmed. |
Oh hell yes! That show is gonna rockz0rz |
you could rotate the songs...
haha |
And I think the limit on MySpace is 6 songs now. Not that that helps you put all the tracks up. |
I think if we can't put the whole thing up, putting up a sampler of 4 is better than just putting up half of it. I really can't wait for people to hear the whole thing though.. there is a lot of diversity. A couple of straight-up thrashier tracks, some wicked rockin solo-laden tracks and 2 instrumental tracks. |
The tunes sound fucking amazing, defenitly will be at the cd release show. If you guys need another band by any chance, please let us know we'd love to thrash with you guys again. |
holy fucking shit....as ALWAYS insane guitar work, and backed with great production, im fucking floored...congradulations you guys, you should all be proud as fuck about this!! |
So how long before this shit starts to explode and you guys have your little tees in Hot Topic? |
Fuckin sickest band from Boston right now. Pete has gotten better behind the board as well. Does he still have that Dell lap top? |
they definetly did this at ken susi's studio. |
i heard you can bounce a quarter off susi's bunghole. |
Also, the vox remind me of Ben Falgoust. |
they definetly did this at ken susi's studio. |
Sorta... we only did the drums there and the re-amping of guitars after they were all done. The actual bulk of time doing guitar and bass tracks was just direct in Dave's basement using Pete's laptop. Vox we did at Pete's practice space in Fitchburg. |
dude, that shit fucking kicks ass. i wanna own that right now |
Shit is so fucking good. Damn you to hell. |
that's it. i need this record, now. i'm starting to get heart palpitations from anticipating this shit. |
16-35 EH?
i need to buy the nikon version.
I'm pissed there isn't a 20-60 f/2.8 FF lens |
what can i say that already hasn't been said?
shits NARRRSTYY,
but what i particularly like is these guys ability to instill self loathing in all lesser musicians hahahahah |
oh yea, some day you guys have to explain to me what "re-amping" is
good luck on tour |
Re-amping, I believe, is running a recorded guitar part through an amp, and recording it again. I could be wrong though. |
yeah, you use a direct box to push a previous recorded signal from the software back out to amps to re-record/layer/whatever |
