You bet Nick. I got this show tonight. Charles is even coming with me!

TYAG is down with underground hip hop. If I didn't have to work until past midnight tonight, I would be in attendance. :/

old atmosphere is the bomb.

toggletoggle post by Nobody_Cares at Apr 30,2008 5:11pm
I hear the Atmosphere comparison the most. I'm not up on rap now at all, I only listen to metal and old gangster rap. I do like Aesop and Sage, as far as biting nuts, if you want to be a white, wordy, poetic rapper these days you're bound to get the comparison. The thing all 3 have in common is they are successful so thanks. I'd rather listen to some Enslaved or Death than rap anyday. I'm playing Kylesa on the way to the show.

Technically, hip hop is not a style of music but rather a sub-culture.
Rap is the music associated with the hip hop culture. I love when I hear people say "I hate rap but I like hip hop". WTF?

toggletoggle post by W3 nli at Apr 30,2008 5:35pm
haha get on that LORD QUAS and MAD VILLIAN bus while youre at it

toggletoggle post by Hungtableed at Apr 30,2008 5:42pm

toggletoggle post by brandon nli at Apr 30,2008 5:48pm
yea i heard the mad villian cd was really good. I plan on getting all the cds. Any time im really into an artist i pretty much hope on amazon and get everything they've done.

I have the mf doom mf grim split. Its not bad, The 2nd song is the best one, Most of grims songs are kinda lame.

toggletoggle post by brandon nli at Apr 30,2008 5:58pm
Another good cd to get is the "hip hop forever vol. 3" by dj jazzy jeff. Every song on there is good, Except for one redman song.

toggletoggle post by Nobody_Cares at May 1,2008 10:03am
Yeah it was a pretty decent turnout. Ill possibly be back there in july for a show with a dude from oregon. I'm also having him up my way at The Red Door in Portsmouth NH the day before. I did wear my TYAG shirt, maybe I'll post a pic. I fuck with some Hivesmasher, do you guys have cds yet? Possible trade?

toggletoggle post by aaron_michael  at May 1,2008 10:05am
yeah man. the full length is done on sunday and we'll have a bunch ready by the time we hit up dover again

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at May 1,2008 12:00pm
