for show listings, I'm thinking of allowing people to upload a flyer.
flyers will be allows in JPG or PNG format only and will be re-size to fit in either 640x480 or 800x600.
I might make it so you can directly link them from other sites either.

I would put away to "upload" pictures that aren't flyers...

not to play devil's advocate...but you saw what happened with the adding attachments on my site...HUGE ones

why dont you just scan the files before they're on the site?

i think the feature should definitely ONLY be for members... not anonymous people

and succubus, if I write it, I will have complete control over resizing the images. that's why I said "will be re-size to fit in either 640x480 or 800x600." I will also not store them in a database like they did on your site.

maybe do it so whoever wants to do it...needs yer permission first and once they get the ok..they get special priviledges on the site i.e. to upload stuff...

Thought for another addition:
When you hit the advanced response button have the page reload with the advanced response box, icons, html buttons, etc. appearing where the quick response box is so you can still see the thread in the same window while you type your reply.
