it was at the elks originally. that's what coffins website lists. this is the first I've heard of the venue change |
I hope i can still make it out to this. |
The flyer for this made me lol in a restaurant after it had been in my pocket for a week and I needed something to write on. I am probably going to this. |
Can't wait for Saturday's nyc shows! Anyone coming down for either one? I went to ABC No Rio for the first time last weekend. Pretty chill space for a Saturday afternoon all ages show. I was surprised at the no moshing thing (not that I'd mosh, but still). |

I'll be at the ABC No Rio show. Thank god they are playing a matinee because Cluster is playing that night at No Fun. Be nice to see them with Unearthly Trance though. Bummer
And what's with Otesanek on the Philly date, I thought they were done! |

Cant wait for this. Such a huge fan of Coffins. I like how accurate the description on the flyer is. Very rare for that to happen. |
The website for the Democracy center lists the show as being frm 7pm-11pm |
Anyone have an estimate as to when Coffins is playing? |
If anyone has a place I can crash after the show I can go to it. My car is iffy and I havea show in O'Briens @ Allston the next day. I'd post info about it but I'm sure nobody gives a good fuck about it. Anyway, if you help me out, cool and PM me. |
rich if you dont mind you can crash @ Megan's place she has two couches in the livingroom |

Cool. I'll probably just park at my old house and walk to the show then. |

The website has really easy directions, especially if you're taking the T. |
Is the Rev going to this?
Rev are you going to this? |
wow it would have been a really hard decision between this, NA, and type O, but fortunately my lack of money and planning has made up my mind for me |
this show was awesome.
yew guyz missed out. |
crushing doooooooooooooooom !!!!!! |
Coffins should have been given more time, but I am so glad I went. They played the three songs I was hoping to hear. That's fucking awesome. |
i made it to the venue, but after an hour of driving around and nearly hitting art-fag pedestrians i got fed up and ended up leaving and seeing wetnurse in worcester. way to book a show at a place with zero parking. cool.
next time i want to go to a show on the east side of framingham, im hitching a ride with someone. |
I got there late. Coffins played way too short of a set. I walked SOOOO much just to get there. All my friends bailed and didnt make the show. THIS IS WHY YOU DONT HAVE SHOWS AT 7 on a fucking FRIDAY. |
When the opening band is late, it's not a good idea to then let them play later on (they were good though), totally fucked up the show. But fuck when it's 10:35 and you're telling the guys from Coffins, while they're setting up they have till 11:05 to play it's ridiculous.
Hopefully Coffins get more respect on the rest of their US tour. All bands were great, just a poorly run gig. |
So I missed out on a full set of my favorite band - who will probably never get to MA ever again - because of fucking Noosebomb? I will always hate that band now. Always. |
NO Noosebomb was not the opening band. Scapegoat. Noosebomb crushed and played a short set. None of the bands are a fault, people organizing, or lack or organizing. |
Noosebomb opened to show simply because the 1st band was so late |
Noosebomb is forgiven. I still enjoyed the show very much. Right now Coffins is one of my favorites. I was happy to buy the few things I did not have while at the show. |
how about putting the show @ a place that doesnt close at 11pm on a friday night.
and yeah saying the show will start @ 7pm and it doesnt start till 9:30pm and you still let all 5 bands play the headliner will def get fucked.
either way i thought all the bands crushed, i didnt get to see Endless Blockage but everyone else was on point.
and ryan that sucks man, you should have taken the train with me.
YOURE RETARDED IF YOU DIDNT GO TO THIS SHOW. |

knew this would happen. so I didnt go. oh well. silver mt zion tonight! |
honestly, the place is super easy to find. ryans just not used to the new fangled city driving, thats all. |
the parking around the place was the problem...not actually finding the venue |
I found a space about 50 feet down the road at 7:00, and saw several other open spaces. I guess I just have luck when it comes to parking at Boston shows, or the cosmos are distributing reparations for countless hour long drives trying to find parking at many a show I've attended in the past.
Anywho, this was a fucking solid show. The Endless Blockade and Noosebomb were the best bands for me. |

i almost hit a couple of artfags and little black kids who ride their bikes out into the roads in front of fast moving cars. found the place aight, drove around and got wicked road rage and couldnt find a spot |
and i was close to jumping out of my truck wielding a hockey stick on one dude. me+driving in boston= bad news. |

favorite. |
Yeah that show was fucking weird. I guess there was a lot of confusion and the promoter kept saying we had some time because the opening band hadn't shown up yet. We spent forever looking for parking after we loaded in. Then I guess we had to set up right away. I rushed through set up and my retard bandmates set up the amps in front of me, ensuring that I would hear nothing but mush during the set, so naturally I was really unconfortable and made for one of the worst feeling performances ever for me. I was going to punch everybody in noosebomb in the face for throwing me dirty looks for playing shitty.
But I guess it wasn't really their fault.. leaving me to vent my anger on crusties all night.
Fucking crusties... |
