New site? Maybe some day.

I'm surprised I didn't see a thread about this movie already...unless I just missed it. Anyone see this movie? I saw it yesterday and it was fucking amazing. It's from the same director(s) of Pan's Labyrinth, so you know it's creepy as shit. |

Loved it! I definitely screamed out loud in the theater a couple of times. |

wrong, it's co-produced and endorsed by del toro, not directed by him, he was busy making hellboy 2, and will be making another civil war ghost story movie in 09
but I can see why you were confused, they marketed it the same way they tied tarantino onto hostel

My apologies, sir. I knew he had something big to do with it, haha.
Either way, this movie was fucking amazing. I wish I hadn't waited so long to see it in the theater, as I'd like to see it again soon but I think it's going to be gone soon.
Liz, what was your reaction to the bus part, haha? I laughed my fucking ass off while everyone around me shuddered. Good times. |

"DON'T OPEN THAT DOOR, BITCH! DA ORFANATO BE IN THERE!!"
Great movie. |

Good flick! Really well done for a first time director, but pretty derivative (especially of The Devil's Backbone, which makes sense, and there are only so many places you can go with the whole ghosts at an orphanage thing). Nice atmosphere and pacing and another great performance from Rueda. She's going to be huge! |
