2001 toyota echo
120 something thousand miles
CD player
5 speed
41 MPG
Engine is great shape, the car itself, not so much. It has some dents and rust here and there. The inside is a little tore for leading such a metal lifestyle, but whatever, it gets sick gas mileage.......and the ladies. All this for $2000.00

not mine - but a much better looking facsimilie. |
|
that's a really excellent deal for that car. you been regular on the oil changes? |
|
I bought it new, so I have been the only owner. No serious accidents, one small fender bender. One major tune up since it's 6 year exsistince. |
|
if I didn't get a new car a few years ago, this would be the perfect car. anyone out there looking should get this.
wait, does the vehix report list anything about nun raping? |
|
There has been a few alleged nun rapings in this vehicle. Non that would show up in the vehix report, being that they were alleged. |
|
It's possible, considering I am looking after my accident. Let me find out what's going on with a few others I'm looking at first. |
|
perfect! er.. that is if you can get your cab in it. |
|
dude, I fit our entire PA system in it on a day to day basis. It is actually quite roomy in there. |

I'm getting a bigger cab anyway. A Basson 4x10. But either way, as Timmy said, he easily fit his whole PA in there, and our drummer used to easily fit his whole set in his when he had an echo. |

5 speed=standard=manual=not automatic. |
|
yeah, standard means the same thing as manual.
and there are very few 5-speed automatics. I think acura might have one in a sport model. |
|
Actually, there are plenty (time for my mechanic talk). There's also 6 speed automatics with or without the trip-tronic option (the auto-manual thing, without a clutch), and lexus even went so far to make an 8 speed automatic. Good technology, but a pain in the ass to work on. Mercedes-Benz even went so far as to make a 7 speed manual. |
|
ok, list of a number of non-sport models of cars with 5-speed automatics please.
I know that porche had a 6-speed (on the steering collumn i think ) and audi too. |
|
Some newer Toyotas, Lexus that doesn't have the 6 speed. Some Nissans (I believe), and some of the newer acuras that are more luxury than sports. There are more I'm sure but that's all I can think of off the top of my head. Even the new Toyota Tundra comes with a 6 speed auto.
by the steering column you mean paddle shifters? The new Mitsubishi Lancers have those also. |
|
color me unsatisfied by your answer |

Toyota is putting German-made 5speed autos in alot thier cars these days. It's an option in almost all of their SUVs and luxury sedans.
Like the Kluger, camry, solara, ummm highlander... I'd have a harder time thinking of toyotas that don't have them. a handfull of Toyotas (including lexus and scion) have 6 speed autos too, but the only one that comes to mind is the Lexus ES. They are way to heavy to make sense on cars that are knowned for having good gas consumption.
Paddle gearboxes are manual and suuuuper retarded. They haven't caught on in the us yet and hopefully they never do, though they are an option on the new corvette. Colum shift transmissions are also considered manual.

The paddle boxes are on the new Lancers. They also have a twin clutch technology for faster, "video game like" shifting, because one clutch holds the gear while the other waits for the next. One clutch holds gears 1, 3 and 5, and the other clutch holds 2, 4 and reverse. |
|
Sounds unbelievably gay.
Is there a video of it? |
