maylene and the sons of disaster: I was late for them and missed being in the photo-pit. So I slunked around the back of the place and snapped from afar. I got blessed by them and god, but didn't have to take a baptism to shoot their set.

poison the well: the singer I still without his ear-piece/monitor thing so the singing was even more off key that usual. They played 2 songs off opposite of december. I like that CD so good for them. The other songs were off the newer CDs which always end up on my iPod no matter what I try. They ended with a tear from the red sng. I think it was the single. Sort of anticlimactic of them. While shooting, there was a constant flow of 90-120lb crowd surfers. They move a lot faster than the 200lb fat dudes I'm used to at shows.

the singer of PTW thought he was jacob bannon and kept catching a security guard

every time i die: damn, I've seen these guys like a million times. Honestly, I prefer the first CD when they sounded more like a winey coverge. Since then, their musicmansship (is that even a word?) has gotten better, but I like the songs less. They played a lot of songs from hot damn the new one. People crowd surfed so much that the singer's pants popped open. I went to the balconies and tried snapping a lot of pictures of the kids crowd surfing. Practicing some telephoto techniques and all. This is the first time that they haven't finished with the cowbell thing in years.

Between the sets, one of the boucers gave a chubby kid a empty box of pizza and kept asking "how many of you were dropped off by your parents?"

your comedic genius goes unappreciated once again.

i was going to dress up as you for last halloween rev. but i wasnt sure if you'd be at the romans halloween show so i went with my king hippo costume instead. i've probably told you this before when i was drunk.

rev you shoulda' came to welfare records instead, as there would have been much more material to draw your comedic genius from.

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Oct 27,2007 11:41am
who played romans?

let me guess, king hippo was you without a shirt, drunk and weirding a crowd?
someone people probably thought you were just a classy broad on her bachelorette party. You would be one mega bridezilla.
