Of The Betrayed is seeking a guitarist in the Northern, MA or Southern, NH areas for our Progressive Death Metal sound. We're very open to mixing different styles of music. We work mainly off feeling and don't intend to conform to a mold or one single genre. So if you have a love for metal in general and want to be in a serious band then try out for us!
We have played with some amazing bands such as Cattle Decapitation (Metal Blade Records), Psyopus (Metal Blade Records), Emmure (Victory Records), The_Network (Black Market Activities), Dance Club Massacre (Black Market Activities), Architect (Black Market Activities), and many more.
Here are some of our requirements!
- Must be over the age of 18
- A minimum of 3 years experience
- Must have ability to do both rhythmn and lead
- Have professional or semi professional equipment
- Have a flexible schedule with ability to play numerous shows & practice on weekends
- Must have a steady income to pitch in with band expenses (Band room, merch, gas for shows, etc...)
- Must have own transportation
- Experience in playing in front of crowds & have a great stage presence
- Must be open minded and willing to work with all forms of METAL
- This is a NO DRUG USE BAND! Don't apply if you do.
- Play in Standard D tuning
