i think they fight more than once...they did fight last week.
i missed weeds at 10 but caught californication and weed's is going to go on again...

Weeds was good tonight. I'm worried though, I have a bad feeling they're trying to write andy out of the show.
I don't know if I like californication. It's nice to see all those boobies, but the plot is just retarded.
Also, WEEDS this season has ruined my favorite game: "Smoking with Kevin Nealon." I usually make it a point to hit a bowl every time they show Kevin smoking up. This season has left me suprisingly sober at the end of each episode.
As for DEXTER, that show is utter CRAP. Read the fucking books. The show is half assed and doesn't even come close to doing the books justice.

i enjoy that show. i hate when people say a show or movie sucks because they read the book. my friend said that about the dead zone movie and i love that movie. i wish people would separate the books and movies and view them as different entities. sometimes the movie or tv version is crap but sometimes the person would love the movie or tv show if they had never read the book.

It's not even close to that. The parts of the plot in season one that were taken directly from the books was interesting, even if they drew it out to fill an entire season. However, to fill it out, they added a lot of shit to it themselves, and the stuff they added was all campy, retarded crap that didn't really fit the overall atmosphere. Not only that, but if they repeat the same formula and use book 2 as a template for the second season, they've already screwed a couple major points which means that the second season would need to contain even MORE original material. As I said, the original stuff for the most part sucked.
I loved the books, and seeing them acted out was cool. But the terrible acting (except the guy who plays dexter) and the goofy shit they added ruined it. Also, they totally tone down all the scenes of dexter with his victims, and cut a lot out.
I like Californication a lot, but I really hate the way they deal with the daughter sub-plot. The scenes where she plays with her band are sooo painful. Duchovny and a few of the other lead actors are great though. I don't really like the BDSM agent or the underage bitch who steals Moody's book. They totally over play the coy, slutty bitch angle and their characters have no depth.

if you dont have showtime or tv for that matter you can watch these shows (californication, weeds, dexter) on http://www.watchtvsitcoms.com or http://free-tv-video-online.info/ usually one or the other works. thats how i roll anyway, fuck paying for showtime when you can watch that shit fo free!!
